In Spite of the Bosset Life(46)
“Ace, you don’t catch her, I’m gon catch a body,” I said, pointing to him. They kept playing and ignoring me. I ran some dish water to start cleaning.
“Da da gotta go. I’ll be back soon. Go sit down. I’ll put the movie in for you. I love you princess,” said Ace, sending his daughter off.
“Da Da, I wuv you da most,” said Majesty, hanging around on the chair than taking off.
“Love you,” I said, kissing him. He slapped my ass.
“I love you the most.”
“No you don’t.” Ace went to the living room. He turned Despicable Me 2 on and kissed his daughter goodbye. He locked us in and Ace was gone. I decided to clean the whole condo while Ace was gone. Akamai brought the groceries over and left right after. I checked the bags and there wasn’t no pregnancy test in none of the bags.
Akamai was working for another family as a bodyguard, so he had to split his time. I had no problem but Ace wanted to hire another bodyguard but I was content. I had no problem with Akamai being here only half the time. I figured he was busy and forgot my test.
Chapter 19
It was getting later and later. Majesty wanted to wait for her daddy to come home but I promised her Ace would be home when she woke up. I was now hoping Ace hurried home. I was starting to worry. I didn’t know what was going on. I definitely didn’t want to lie to my daughter. Both of Ace’s phones was going straight to voicemail. I tried to relax some but I couldn’t. It was three in the morning and I was wide awake. I became paranoid. I thought some Cuban guys would bust into the condo at any moment.
“Ace, that’s you?” I asked, jumping up from the couch. The gun Ace kept in the house was nearby and I did a double take at the door then the loaded gun.
“Yeah,” said Ace, making sure the door was locked. I hugged him tight, not letting him go.
“What’s wrong, Mook? Something happened?” Ace peeped out the gun on the table.
“No... you just didn’t answer yo phone. I got worried. Majesty wanted you and I didn’t know what to tell her. She thought you was gone...I thought you was gone,” I said, looking in my husband’s eyes.
“Mook Mook, I’m never leaving you guys. I’m here with you and my daughter. C’mon, I know you ain’t been sleep. Stop crying bae. I’m right here. M’Acesyn is right here. Nobody’s going to hurt you,” said Ace, taking me to our room. He laid me down and kissed all over my body.
“What happened with Kash?” I had to ask. My brain was going crazy. I needed to know what was going on.
“He turning himself in first thing Monday,” said Ace, running his hand down his face. I felt bad but Kash needed to be a man. ChaCha nor me had anything to do with his illegal dealings. I knew ChaCha was hurting. Luckily, she had her best friends Liberty and Dymond by her side. They weren’t blood but was all ChaCha actually had in this f*cked up world.
“He know he gotta come see me right?”
“He said he coming to talk to you first thing in the morning. He know.” Kash was my son and I was his mother. He owed me an apology for this mess. I was still financially doing for his grown ass. I still didn’t know what my probation officer was going to say but Ace assured me he would take care of it.
“He better,” I said, turning on the TV. I undressed and snuggled up next to Ace. “Ace, can you tell me a bedtime story like you use to?” Ace smiled and got on top of me.
“I guess I can tell my grown wife a bedtime story,” said Ace, running his fingers down my stomach. I jumped because it tickled. “Or do you want something else?” asked Ace, using his tongue to tickle my flat stomach. I gasped for air as he went lower and lower. “I love yo stomach…tell me what you want. I’ll do whateva.”
“Do you Da Da,” I said, gripping the sheets. He kissed my * lips repeatedly.
“Mook, go take that test,” said Ace, shooting up and messing up the mood.
“Un un! Ace, you better get down here,” I said, trying to pull him down. He jumped out the bed and went to get the pregnancy test. “Ace, you get on my nerves!” I hugged the pillow tightly, waiting for him.
“It’s not gonna take long. Just piss on the stick,” said Ace, handing me a water bottle. “Real quick bae.”
“What’s this for?” I asked, accepting the water.
“Just drink it,” said Ace, opening the pregnancy test. He went to the bathroom and turned on the light.
“You doing too much,” I said, putting the water down. I guess he called himself setting up for me to take this damn test. He turned the faucet on, running the water.
“You ready? Huh, let me do it.”
“Ace move. I can take my panties off,” I said, moving Ace. I started laughing at this foo. “I got it Ace.” I guess he wanted me to be able to pee.
“You sure? You don’t need nothing?”
“Can I pee?”
“Yeah Ma. Go ahead.” Ace was making me nervous. He was constantly moving and starting to sweat a little. I tried to block him out. I pissed on the stick then wiped myself.
“Ace, calm down baby,” I said, washing my hands. I got me a wipe to clean my down below. I went and laid on the bed. Ace was looking at the test and at me.
