Turned Out By A Boss(12)

Cree followed behind her laughing, “I don't care about your little attitude. Talking about, he chose me."

Arriving at the restaurant, Denim noticed they were the last in attendance. She walked around the table greeting everyone before giving Deena a faint wave. Her brunch consisted of her big sister Sherika, Moni, Debra, Larae, Cree and last but not least Deena.

"Damn girl you look like you about to pop." said Larae.

"I feel like it." she sighed rubbing her belly.

"Did everyone order?" Cree asked sitting down.

"Yup, y'all just have to."

Flagging a waiter down Denim ordered buffalo wings and French fries with ranch and blue cheese and a raspberry iced tea while Cree opted for a grilled chicken salad and a strawberry Daiquiri.

"You're already big eating like that after this pregnancy you might not be able to shed the weight. "

Everyone just stopped. It wasn't shocking that Deena would say something like that because it was just in her character.

"Maybe if you gain weight your man would stop cheating on you." spat Debra. The two could barely stand to be in the same room.

“Debra you going too far.”

“So we supposed to sit here and act like we can't tell Rico’s not faithful. Don't act like me and Moni ain't see him two weeks ago leaving the telly.” Debra said with a smirk.

Denim sat waiting for a comeback or, at least, more confirmation on that day. She was getting nervous because that day she was with Rico, he had met her there because he was already in the city and so was she. She sat uncomfortable hoping she wasn't seen leaving out with him.

"I was just saying, she's already too big to be carrying one baby and she was on the heavy side before the pregnancy. I was just trying to help." Deena reasoned. "And my husband would never cheat on me," she said assumingly as Denim chuckled.

Wasting no time once the waiter brought her food over she dug in. "It ain't going nowhere Denim, you gon’ wish you hadn't eaten so much once you drop that baby," Sherika added.

The only thing about going on outings with these girls were that it was always shade being thrown. Deena had a slick ass mouth and thought she was better than everybody and with Sherika being her best friend she was just the dumb ass follower.

"So, what are you having?" asked Moni safely changing the subject.

"I don't know. I've decided to wait until I give birth to find out."

"That's cool. It lets the imagination run wild and leaves people guessing I like it," said Moni.

"That's stupid. Why wouldn't you want to know what you having? How would you know what to shop for? I would have found out once the opportunity presented itself." There goes Deena again.

I'm two seconds from killing this bitch, mused Denim as she sipped her tea with her leg shaking which was a clear sign of her irritation.

"Deena get pregnant then we'll worry about the opportunity presenting itself." Cree snapped. "Damn you and Sherika really some jealous bitches."

"I'm not jealous I just am curious. Speaking of being curious why haven't you had a baby shower and we haven't met your child's father. You do know who he is don't you?" Sherika smirked.

"Yup, the same way I know who's f*cking your husband bitch." Denim snapped shocking everyone because usually she would just take whatever was being dished out towards her. She got up from her seat throwing a fifty-dollar bill on the table. "Cree I'm ready."

Getting in the car and pulling off Cree busted out laughing. "Denim how you gon' do her like that."

"I'm sick of them bitches. And what you mean doing her like that, you were f*cking Daryl like three months ago."

"Uh uhn no it doesn't count. I was messing with that nigga Dee for like three years. I just so happen to introduce y’all and come to find out that's your sister’s husband. After that, I broke it off with him bitch. So don't do me. I don't break up happy homes.” Cree said flipping her hair.

"Whatever hoe."

"Anyways have you spoken to Rico because I noticed your ass been in a better mood lately. Let me find out Rico fine ass dicked you down proper," she said glancing over at Denim.

"We recently sat down and spoke about what needed to be done regarding the baby and he made a few promises.”

“You don't sound convinced.”

Denim sighed. "Girl I am so done it don't make no sense. He gon' tell me it's not over until he says so."

"Good * will do that to a nigga."

"That's what his wife is for."

"Her stuck up ass don't even look like she could take dick let alone please a nigga like Rico."

Cree said as Denim just sat in her thoughts. This little affair she and Rico had going on was getting old, hell it got old when she found out she was pregnant seven months ago.

"I don't know about that. I mean they are still f*cking." Denim said as if it left a bad taste in her mouth.

Cree snapped her head towards her best friend dramatically. "Girl. Please tell me you not mad nor jealous."

When Denim refused to answer. Cree got her answer. Looking at Denim once again she busted out laughing.

"I know you ain't think your * was that good. Hoe if he'd cheat on his wife. The woman he married. Hell in house *. What would make you think yours is so spectacular?" Cree asked truly confused with Denim.
