Seducing Texas (So not Prince Charming #2)(63)
I nod. “Please don’t stop.”
“I won’t. I think we’re past that.”
His stiff cock slowly pulls in and out of me. It’s like a slow dance teasing me, and the sensation is exquisite. I feel myself building and ramping up again.
Smiling, he watches me. I squeeze my eyes shut to experience the intense pleasure spawning deep inside me. The steel length stretches and expands my sex.
“Yer’re so tight I may come quickly.” He slows.
Each thrust is gradual and precise. My sex hugs him and throbs around him.
My heart rate spikes as he draws his length in and out of me. It feels so good. “Please. Faster.”
Aedan increases his tempo. “Yer * is too sweet.”
He leans down and kisses me roughly, his teeth tugging on my lips. His hands pull my arms above my head, my breasts prickle with excitement, and my lips press against his hungry mouth. He hits the roof of my sex, and I cry out. “Keep going.”
“I love how you beg me.” His tongue laps down my neck.
I can feel my imminent release. I’m right on the edge, and he must sense that because he hammers me with insistent plunges. His mouth covers mine, and his tongue slips between my teeth while his hips undulate into me. Shivers ripple through me as my orgasm takes me under. He keeps going, and I keep coming.
“Oh Aedan, I love you.” I know I shouldn’t say those words that’ll scare him off, but I’ve never felt anything so wondrous.
I don’t know how long my sex ripples around him, but I feel myself shattering, bursting apart and then dissolving into his bed.
Sweat breaks out on his chest, glistening in the soft light. I feel him jerk deep inside, releasing his orgasm. It feels so good.
He finally slows until he drops beside me. “You. That was the best. I could fall in love with yer, with the way you feel and with the way yer make me feel.”
His arms wrap around me, and after he throws the condom in the trash, he pulls up the sheet to cover us. I’ve never loved a man before, but I know he’s it for me. I hope he thinks that way about me.
I slowly drift off in the warmth of his embrace.
My phone buzzes, and it’s Cyn. I groggily say hello.
“Do you have your gun with you?” she asks, sounding out of breath.
Terror seizes my throat. I shoot upright, startling Aedan. “Yes. Why?”
Chapter Cyn
Shane enters Red Sky with his gun drawn. His whole body coiled like a spring. My hand grasps my gun sitting at the bottom of my purse.
He slowly and carefully unlocks the door. His neck muscles tense and the veins throb. Shane is all lean, hard muscles.
“I thought someone tripped the alarm,” I say, my nerves jittery.
“Someone must’ve shut it off from inside, but if he knows how to turn it off, he could’ve done it before the police and my app were notified. He has fifteen seconds.”
“But that means he had a key,” I say, swallowing hard. It makes sense that it was an inside job, but I don’t like that it’s someone Shane trusts. I like all the employees I’ve met minus Sonia.
“Maybe you should stay out here,” Shane says.
“That’s how the pretty virginal blonde gets axed. I’m not blonde, so I’ll take my chances inside.”
He chuckles. “Or a virgin.”
“Smartass.” I clutch onto his arm, more to feel his muscles flex than for protection. My other hand has drawn the gun out. I switched off the safety on my 9mm semi-automatic gun.
“I love you, princess.” He creeps into the lobby, and we go through the main offices and then the cubicle farm. So far, not a hair is out of place.
We then go to the server room where the AC is cranked. When he opens the door, I let out a scream partially caught in my throat. Jeremy dangles on a rope by his throat. His tongue lolls out of his mouth, and his face is a dull gray-blue. It’s sickening to look at, so I jerk my head away.
“We need to get him down,” I cry. Poor sweet Jeremy.
“No. He’s dead and the cops and Timmons will be here soon. We don’t want to destroy any evidence.”
“Why would he kill himself?”
“I don’t think he would. Someone tied that rope to the support beams above the drop ceiling. This looks premeditated.”
Shane sits down at a terminal and types on the keyboard.
“What are you doing?” I ask.
“Checking the video tapes. Shit. Someone erased the last five hours.”
That’s obvious why, except the length of time. Why would the person need that much time? “Who do you think murdered him?”
“Definitely one of my employees or someone who was let into the office by an employee.” He rubs that handsome scruff lining his strong jaw. “Whoever came into the office probably wasn’t expecting Jeremy. That’s probably why he didn’t get the alarm shut off in time.”
A low scraping sound comes from the cabinet to my left, startling me.
“Did you hear that?” I ask, icy shivers working into my spine. “How come when I’m with you my life turns upside down?”
“You wouldn’t want to be bored, would you?”
“Boring would be nice, sitting on a bank fishing, kids running around and screaming.”
