Never Far Away (The Never #2)(25)
“I don’t want any barriers between us tonight, Porter. I just want you. I’m on the pill and I’ve always used a condom. Plus, if I had anything I would have found out from the hospital. I want to feel all of you inside of me.” She looked up at him with pleading eyes. “This is you and me, Porter. I want to be with you this way, only you. Bare and raw,” she said as she gently placed a hand on his cheek.
“Are you sure?” He asked quietly.
“I trust you. Please, make love to me.”
With their eyes locked, Porter slowly slid into her making sure he remembered the moment they became one in every way.
“Oh god, Porter,” she said as she raked her nails down his back. Never really having thought that sex without a condom would feel any different, she was shocked by the difference actually feeling him was making.
“It’s never felt like this before, Ella. You were made for me.” She pulled him down to her, wanting as much contact with him as possible. He kissed every inch of skin he could find and she was riding the waves of pleasure he was bringing her. He put a hand under her ass and pulled her hips up to meet his thrusts, giving him an even deeper angle that had her biting her tongue to keep from yelling out.
“You’re so warm, Baby. Warm and wet,” he rasped out at her.
“I’m close, Porter.”
“Wait for me,” he ordered. She groaned and tried to keep her pending orgasm at bay. Her eyes bolted closed and she bit her lip while he found new angles and speed at which to drive into her, all of them making it harder and harder for her to hold on any longer.
“Please come, Baby. Come inside me,” she whispered in his ear seductively.
“Ahh, f*ck…” he groaned and drove roughly into her a few more times. She couldn’t wait any longer as her orgasm rocketed through her. She felt a wave of relief as he came right along with her. Breathing heavily and resting atop her, his heartbeat frantically pulsed into her chest. She caressed his back with her hand, waiting for him to come back to her.
“Condoms suck,” were the first words out of his mouth. She giggled.
“Yes, apparently they do. They also lie. It definitely doesn’t feel the same.” Porter flicked her nose with the tip of his.
“Felt good?”
“Amazing.”
“Yes. For me too. That was definitely an experience worth having. Again and again.” He nuzzled into her neck and she heard him take a deep breath. He was quiet for a minute and then quietly said, “If we fall asleep, do you promise to be here and remember me when we wake up?” He pulled back to look at her. She pushed his hair off of his forehead and smiled at him.
“Yes, let’s go to sleep.” He rolled off of her and pulled her back into his chest. He pulled the plush comforter up over them, and then finally reached over her and braided his fingers with hers. She felt his breathing slow and eventually even out. Once she was fairly certain he was asleep, she let herself drift off as well, cradled in the warmth of the man she forgot, surrounded by the love she nearly lost.
Chapter Seven
Porter
When the afternoon came they finally woke and Porter was put at immediate ease by the smile that Ella wore. He grabbed her and rolled them so that she was on top of him, her body draped all along his.
“Good morning, Beautiful,” he said as he kissed her chin.
“Good afternoon, Handsome.”
“Did you sleep well?”
“Mmm. Better than I have in months.” She laid her head upon his chest and he ran his finger through her loose hair, content to just be with her.
“What would you like to do today? Do you have to go back to Portland?” She lifted her head to look at him, placing her chin on her hands lying flat on his chest.
“I think I’d really like to go see your mom.”
“She’d really like to see you, I’m sure.” He ran his hand along her cheek.
“The problem is, in my frantic rush to get to you last night, I never packed anything. I have no clean clothes.”
“Tell you what, why don’t you relax for a little while, I will run to the store, get you some clothes and stuff, and then we can go have dinner at the bar. Sound good?”
“Sounds perfect,” she said as she crawled up his body to kiss him. He growled in her mouth, kissing her back.
“We’ll never make it out of bed if you keep that up,” he said against her lips.
“I’m ok with that,” she laughed. He rolled them over again, playfully slapped her bare backside as he got up, and headed into his closet. He emerged dressed and stopped to take in the sight of Ella in his bed, his white sheets draped over her seductively, as she was looking at her phone. She had absolutely no idea how sexy and beautiful she was.
“I’ve got to call my family. Megan couldn’t find me this morning and now everyone is freaking out.”
“Do you want me to stay?”
“No, I really want some clean clothes. You go. I’ll call after I shower. Can I text you my sizes?”
“Sure, Baby.” He leaned down to kiss her.
When he came back to the house and made it up the stairs, he heard his shower running and quickly stripped his clothes off to make sure he could join her before she was finished. He walked into the bathroom and was never so glad that he had built himself a walk-in shower without doors. His heart nearly popped right out of his chest as he saw his Ella, eyes closed, turned towards him, water running down the front of her body. Water was cascading over her shoulders, her breasts, her stomach, and her toned thighs. He had a lot of images of Ella burned into his mind, Ella in lingerie, Ella naked bent over the arm of his couch, Ella asleep in his bed curled up next to him, but this image is one that would be hard to beat. He watched her for a few more seconds and then slowly stepped into the shower, wrapping his arms around her from the front. He felt her startle for just a moment, catching her unaware, but then she melted into his hands.
