Turned Out By A Boss(46)
"If you say so," Jasmine replied driving off.
Deena sat back in the passenger seat ready for the night’s festivities. This was the first time Denim had ever invited her to something and she was shocked yet happy. She always tried to befriend Denim but it just never happened.
"How well do you know Denim?" asked Jasmine.
"I've known her for years but just as Sherika's little sister. She never really gave me the time of day. We were only around each other because of people we surrounded ourselves with. So she's like a mutual friend." Deena explained.
Every time the two were around each other tension was thick. Deena knew she had a problem with saying rude things out her mouth. However, she still felt as though Denim never gave her a chance.
"She seems a little stuck up," commented Jasmine. "The night at the club she rubbed me as sneaky and conniving," Jasmine added.
Jasmine was laying it on thick. She needed Denim as far out of the picture as possible. She had plans and after spending time with Deena, she knew she had to knock these women off one at a time. Starting with Denim, the feisty young bitch, as she liked to call her.
"I never got that vibe from her. I mean she has always been secretive and things but sneaky and conniving. I don't think so." Deena replied.
"Yes, girl I'm telling you. Sneaky and conniving. That's the only thing to explain her. Let's be real she got pregnant didn't want a baby shower or to introduce you guys, her supposed friends to her baby daddy. Then she gives birth and leaves. That girl got some shit with her that y'all need to figure out." Jasmine pushed.
Deena sat thinking of the possibilities of Denim actually being up to no good. In her head, it did make sense because of how secretive she was but then again maybe she just didn't want everyone in her business.
As long as she never crept with or tried my man I don't care, Thought Deena.
Denim
Denim decided for her last night in New York, why not have a girl’s night in. Now, of course, she had ulterior motives but why not have fun in the mix. She finished setting up and looked at the time. Seeing she had less than twenty minutes before everyone was to show up she rushed to put on her PINK by Victoria Secret pajamas.
"Babe it's time for you to go."
Kuazie sighed picking himself up off the bed. He didn't agree with this little girl’s night in. He felt that it was childish of Denim to come up with and she was really letting her age show with the immaturity.
"You need to just cancel this and call that girl up and have a real talk," He suggested.
"I didn't ask for your opinion but hey, when I need it maybe I will until then, go next door to Treasure's room." she demanded.
Getting up, he grabbed his stuff before heading to the door. "Don't call me when shit blow up in your face," he told her.
Denim rolled her eyes watching as he left. The last thing she was worried about was this blowing up in her face. It was time Deena knew and since Rico felt like he wouldn't tell her. Denim decided to take things into her own hands.
"Why she here?" Treasure asked walking up to Denim, who was in the middle of an argument with Rico through text.
"I don't know. She came with Deena, so I guess they buddy buddy."
"I wonder if she knows her little buddy f*cking her husband. You think they having threesomes?" Treasure asked causing Denim to laugh.
"Deena stuck up ass ain't having no threesome. Hell according to the way her man cheat it seems like she barely into twosomes." Denim joked.
Their girl’s night in was in full swing. Everyone showed up except Cree but that didn't stop the party. With the music blasting and liquor going around everybody was enjoying their selves.
"Denim where's the C?roc?" Sherika yelled stumbling.
Laughing Denim took the cup from her hand. "No, no more for you. You drunk already and it's not even twelve."
"So what. I'm partying with my bitches and my sister. Turn up." She yelled twerking to the music.
Denim laughed. She had never seen Sherika act this way. Sherika had always been up tight but to see her getting loose and having a good time she smiled. If she knew her sister got down like this, she would've been partied with her.
"Deena you been in the corner all night with that girl. Y'all f*cking or something?" Sherika asked shocking everybody.
Rolling her eyes, Deena replied. "See this why you don't need to drink. You always starting your shit."
"Nah girl. Your uptight ass needs a drink." Treasure said pouring a shot of C?roc and passing it to her.
Deena sat the cup down and continued drinking her juice. "You tryna say you don't trust me?" Treasure asked offended.
Denim knew where things were going because just like her cousin, Treasure was a hot head. The littlest things set her off and with liquor in her system, it was no telling how she would react. Cutting the music down Denim tried to redirect the way things were going.
"Chill out. This is girl’s night and all we did is drink. We need to do some girl talk especially since I leave tomorrow. I need to be caught up on y'all hoes lives." Denim said sitting down.
"Girl same shit with me. Working my ass off to get this degree." Moni said. She was in law school and going hard.
"That's wassup. I can't wait for you to finish because once you become a lawyer, I'm gonna be your first client." Denim told her. "I'm taking Rhia's father straight to court," she assured them.
