Turned Out By A Boss(45)
*****
Denim walked into Buffalo Wild Wings and already knew where Rico was seated. This used to be their favorite spot to come to. Sighing she walked up to the table seeing Rico already.
Damn he look good, she thought as she gave him a once over.
He was dressed in a black DKNY tuxedo with a pair of Stacy Adams on his feet. The Joe Rodeo diamond encrusted watch shined on his wrist.
He knows I love when he gets on his grown man shit, Mused Denim.
"Hey." Denim greeted as she slid into the seat.
Rico gave her a nod. Even though he wanted Denim to come to New York, he didn't think it would be like this. Rico assumed having Denim in New York would be in his favor so imagine his surprise finding out she came but not alone.
"So you just gon' look at me?"
"Nah. I just thought you were gonna order and shit first," He assured.
Rolling her eyes, Denim let out a slight chuckle. "I don't need to order. I'm fine."
"So you not gonna eat?"
"I'll wait, I'm sure my man will be hungry when I get back to him," Denim smirked.
Rico laughed. "Fair enough."
"Rico look you need to tell Deena," Denim said getting straight to the point. No longer having time for the petty games.
"Why every time I see you you bring up my wife. Damn play your f*cking position and stop worrying about her."
"What position? I no longer f*ck with you in that way. So please cut that position shit out. This talk was to let you know to tell your wife before I do." Denim snapped raising her voice.
"I don't know why it matters if Deena knows or not. You're not even in the city no more. You packed your shit and left. Remember?"
"She needs to know because she's your wife. And as long as she's your wife that means she'll be in my daughter’s life."
Rico rubbed his head in frustration. "You too concerned with Deena. I'm not telling her nothing so get it out your head. Why you so hung up on her anyway?" he scolded.
Denim felt her eyes getting watery but refused to cry. "Because as long as you have a wife you feel as though my child isn't a part of your life. Hell, you won't even hold her," she snapped.
Rico sat back in his chair and just looked at her. As true as it is he didn't feel a connection with Rhia. He barely knew her, in reality, he didn't even know why Denim went through with the pregnancy.
To him, Rhia was nothing more than a mistake that Denim should have swallowed or better yet she was a waste of a good nut.
Rico never thought the shit he did would ever see the light of day and with Denim sitting in front of him talking about a carbon copy of him in a little girls form he knew it was only a short amount of time before his infidelities came out.
"Look what was the point of us meeting here? I could've met you at the house for this," he stressed.
"No, it's no reason for me to be there. Let's be honest all you want is sex and I want you to be a father. It's no reason for me to be in your house." Denim said so sure of herself.
Rico laughed because even though this is what her mouth was saying he knew it was only a matter of time. "Denim you know like I know that this * got my name written all over it," he said coming around the table sitting beside her.
Denim's body shivered as he sat beside her wrapping one of his arms around her. "Tell me you miss me," he whispered in her ear.
Beginning his kisses from her neck up to her chin he used his other hand to rub her through her jeans. Hearing how shaky her breath was, he knew her body was reacting and it was only a matter of time.
Denim was seconds away from telling Rico to meet her in the bathroom. That is until Kuazie popped up in her head.
"Stop." She slightly yelled pushing him off.
"You worried about f*cking me and you need to worry about taking care of your daughter."
"Don't make it as if I don't handle mines. I've been taking care of you for over two years. It's nothing to add another mouth. Remember who was paying your bills." he said getting offended.
"And you would still be if I was living there because your daughter would be there. But I give you until the end of the week to let your wife know."
Rico stood up glaring at Denim. "Bitch if you thought that baby was gonna make me leave my wife you got me f*cked up. Now how about this as for me doing anything for you or that bastard ass baby it'll never happen. Just like me leaving my wife. Take this and make the shit last because I'm done with your hoe ass." he said throwing money in her face and walking out.
Shocked was an understatement to how Denim felt. She couldn't believe how Rico had just disrespected her. She tried to be civil about everything but now she felt it was time she let him know who was running shit. Being an adult about the situation and giving him the opportunity to let his wife know was now out the window. It was time she did things her way.
Girls Night In....
Deena
"It took you long enough to get here," Deena said once she got into the car.
"Girl my bad. My baby sitter came late, but you sure she gone be cool with me coming, I mean last time I seen her she kinda played me to the left."
Deena gave off a confused look. "Girl she's cool. Besides, she gave an open invitation to everybody." Deena assured.
