The Married Billionaire's Surrogate An African American Pregnancy Romance For Adults(16)

“Well, don’t underestimate my power, sweetie. You have seen nothing,” he teased her and they both laughed sincerely, partly because they were on one of the most beautiful places on the Earth and partly because they were together, far from the cold maddening walls and the stern looks of Elizabeth.

The beach was first on the list just like Steven had said and as he had taken care that Alicia had new bikinis, he had also bought himself some new light blue shorts. Stepping on the ocher-colored sand hand in hand, Alicia felt a strong bond toward this man forming inside her soul. Steven, who had been a stranger to her and a person she wouldn’t have known about if asked ten years ago, was showing her kindness and love she hadn’t received from anyone. And just as she imagined herself as Cinderella, scrubbing the floors and cleaning the house, in that moment she sensed that she had found her prince and that he had found the lovely lady whose foot was the only one to fit in the glass slipper. Please don’t wake me up from this dream, she thought to herself and followed him under a wide parasol with two lounges waiting for them.

“How did you think of this place, Steve?” She asked him, curiosity visible in her look.

“I’ve got a pretty wild imagination, darling, and plus I may have had some help from a little, cute, red notebook.”

“Oh, no you didn’t!” She put her hands on her waist.

“I had to, sorry.”

“You read my diary! You will certainly get punished, amigo,” she told him jokingly and lay on the lounge. The sponge beneath her was warm and soft and she sighed in relaxation, her legs stretched out. It was a real paradise. One she would never want to leave.

“Take these. The sun can get a bit too hot.” Steven passed a pair of sunglasses to her and put some over his eyes as well. “Now that’s more like it.”

Men and women in bathing suits and hats walked all around them, the sand crunching under their feet. They all looked joyful, joking and laughing among themselves before entering the water and surrendering to the waves. The bars worked in full speed, waiters carrying cocktails or returning empty glasses, here and there leaning over to hear an order. There were children too and the sounds of their play additionally cheered Alicia’s spirit. They were running on the beach in attempt to get away from their mothers who wanted to put sun protection cream on their skins and jumping whenever a wave hit the sand. She chuckled at the sight wishing that she could be that innocent and worry-less once again. At better thought, she was the closest to that right now. Lying like that next to the man she loved, she had a lot of things to thank God for, on the next Thanksgiving.

At once, she rose and stood above Steven’s lounge. He lifted his sunglasses for a moment to gaze at her dubiously.

“Come on! Let’s go in the water.” She pulled his hand and he smiled.

“Impatient, are we? Why such a hurry, dear when it is so much fun here in the shadows lying and…” He spoke to her tenderly, drawing her down on top of him. She could feel his smooth chest on her skin and giggled.

“Is that right? You want to play, huh?” She bit his ear and he dived his hand in her hair, changing the course of action to her mouth.

She got lost in his play, the words of passion he whispered in her ear and the slow fondling of her back. He held her so tightly like he didn’t want to separate from her ever and she sensed a flow of sensation pass under her skin. She thought she fell in love with him more and more in each second. To show him even a small part of what she was feeling she returned the caressing on his whole body and he chuckled between kisses, the moving of his chest under her soothing and comforting.

“What will you order?” One of the waiters had come to their parasol without them noticing.

Alicia shook at the sound of his voice and all ashamed and slightly startled, stood up. She stared at the ocean to hide the flush on her face but it seemed that he didn’t notice. Too tired from working under the sun, he sounded like he wanted to get done with the order at once.

“Two margaritas with ice. Lots of ice,” Steven ordered still smiling.

“Right away, sir.” The man at once left.

No longer capable of resisting, Alicia shyly waved to Steven before running in the midst of people lying on the beach and throwing herself in the ocean with a splash. She let the water fill her body for a moment, enjoying the salt on her skin and then rose to the surface. Laughing and contently flapping her arms in the empty space around her, she thought there was nothing that could make her sad and lonely anymore. In that moment, she had everything she had ever wished for. In that moment, she was the happiest person in the whole world. And there to share that joy was of course Steven who swam from behind her, grabbing her waist.

“Steve…” She giggled trying to free herself. “Stop it! You are tickling me!”

He just pulled her closer to him so that she could sense his wet hair on her forehead. “Think you can beat me in the game of splashes?”

“Game of splashes? I’ve never –“

A small water wave covered her face in mid sentence, her lungs filling with it.

“So that’s how you want to play, huh?” Alicia threateningly stared at his grinning face. She began flapping her hands in the water and sending bigger and bigger waves toward him. He returned the splashing and in no time, everyone around them moved aside to evade the water flying at all sides, wetting their faces, entering their nostrils and making them cough continuously.
