They continued living like that until Melissa showed up in the conversation that they were having at that moment.

“You know what, I promised that I wasn’t going to leave you no matter what we were going through, right?”

“Right.”

“So, I think it's about time we got married.”

Kate’s jaws hit the floorboards, and she felt as though her entire body was paralyzed. And without wasting time, Tony kissed her passionately on the lips. He decided that he wasn’t going to waste any more time but to marry the woman that he loved with all of his heart.

She had been thinking that her life was never going to take a turn for the best. But from the look of things, it seemed as though God had different plans for her and it was nothing but pure happiness all the way.

“Did you bring bring the ring this time round?” Kate asked jokingly since she knew that he had already brought her a ring and she didn’t expect another one.

But to her astonishment, tony reached out in his breast pocket and pulled out an even bigger ring. Kate couldn’t breathe for a couple of seconds as she was trying to understand how this occurrence could be a reality and not a dream.

“Will you marry me?”

“Fucking yes! I will marry you!!!”
