Lost in Paradise (Paradise Club #2)(93)

Don’t swear, he’s proposing.

“Ivy,” Alex says, grabbing my shaking hand as he pulls out a red leather box. “There’s not a day that goes by when I’m not thankful for you being in my life. Having you beside me has made me a better man. And I’m hoping you will continue walking beside me, forever?” he asks, his voice hitching on his emotions as he opens the red box, and the glare of a massive diamond almost blinds me. “Will you marry me, Ivy?”

“Yes. Yes. YES,” I scream as he places the ring on my finger.

But before he gets up, he pulls out another red leather box and opens it. There, sitting on the beautiful silk inside the box is a silver key.

“What’s that?” I ask while starting to think, what a weird proposal.

“This is our new home,” he declares.

“What is?” I ask, somewhat confused by his declaration.

“This …” Alex says while waving his hands around.

“This house?”

Alex nods before getting up off the floor.

“Oh my god,” I scream as I jump into his arms and kiss him like I have never kissed him before.

I may have been lost in paradise before Alex found me, but I know I’ll never be lost again with this man beside me.
