Carnage: Book #1 The Story Of Us (Volume 1)(124)

Sean and I have never had sex like this before, until this week, I was only sixteen the last time we had made love and that is exactly all that we had ever done, made love. Sean had always been gentle and considerate, he’d taught me, but never forced me and he had definitely never been rough like he had tonight. Tonight was f*cking, pure and simple, lust fuelled f*cking and I think I loved him even more than I did at the beginning of the night. The fact that he couldn’t wait till we got home, that we needed that connection so bad that I had had the cheek to ask my brother to use his office, it made me love in a way that made not just my heart but my whole body to ache.

I was spread; face down, with Sean still buried inside me over my brother’s desk. I groaned as Sean pressed against my back. “I can’t believe we did that, my brother’s got to work on this desk, I’m such a slut.” I could feel Sean’s laugh rattle inside him, I could feel his chest and shoulders move and his hot breath in my ear but he didn’t say anything, his hand reached out in front of me and he dragged a box of tissues toward us, pulled a handful out and passed them to me, he grabbed another handful, kissed my shoulder and pulled out of me.

We used the bathroom in the office, cleaned ourselves up, got dressed and unlocked the door. Bailey was sitting on a stool at the bar, talking to someone. Sean had my hand in one of his and the keys in the other, he dangled them over Bailey’s shoulder and said, “Cheers mate, we owe you big time.”

Bailey turned on his stool, his eyes slid to mine and at first I couldn’t make out the look in them, then two things happened at once, Sean kissed my temple, and then said. “You wanna drink baby?” Just as the person Bails had been talking too stood up.

Cam!

Everything in the room stopped, the noise, the people, it either stopped or faded away or it was all just too much for my brain to deal with. Never for as long as I live will I forget the look on his face, he started to smile, then his eyebrows drew in together as he watched Sean kiss me and call me baby. His mouth dropped open slightly, as he looked between me and Sean, he looked at Sean’s hand in mine, then from my face to Sean’s and that’s where it stayed for a few seconds. My gaze moved to Baileys, he was looking panicked; I needed to say something but my mouth was so dry I didn’t think I could.

“Gia?’ Sean was looking at me. “What’s wrong?” The affection and concern in Sean’s voice was unmistakable.

Cam’s face completely fell, as did his shoulders, his eyes closed for a few seconds before they shifted back to me and the hurt that they expressed was tangible, he started to turn to leave. “Cam?” He swung back around to face me. Bailey jerked slightly, unsure of what he was going to do. Cam looked from me to Sean, and then put his hand out to Sean.

“Cameron King, joint owner of the place.”

Sean obviously hadn’t missed the name or the atmosphere. “Sean McCarthy,” he hesitated as if he was going to say more but he didn’t.

Cam nodded his head, as if everything was suddenly becoming clear. “You’re Sean, the lead singer of Carnage, of course.”

Sean nodded slightly back and then looked at me. “Do you need a minute, to talk?” I couldn’t have been more grateful or loved him more at that moment; I gave a slight nod Ash kissed my cheek. “Ten minutes, then I’m coming back, I don’t care, how big he is, ten minutes.” He turned back to Cam and Bailey. “I’m gonna get a drink from the other bar.”

He didn’t pretend, he didn’t say nice to meet you, because obviously, it wasn’t, he just turned and walked back into the VIP bar, “I’ll leave you two to talk.” Bailey kissed my cheek and got up and left.
