Hope's Chance(57)

Chances boss was not as lenient with him leaving to visit us on the weekends. After three weeks he still hadn’t been home at all. I missed him terribly.

My mother finally moved into her new place. There was one whole week when I wanted to just move back home with her, but once I saw the size, I knew why she hadn’t asked me in the first place. It was tiny and only had one bedroom.

Her boyfriend Noah was a great guy. He had a outstanding sense of humor and seemed to be madly in love with her. I could tell immediately why she was so crazy about him. He made me promise that once a week I would come over to his place and have dinner with he and my mother. She was thrilled that he asked and I kept to my promise.

One night while on the phone, Chance told me about what Trevor said he and Rylee did. I had been going on and on about her being such a trustworthy friend and he said he had to tell me. I got angry about it, and then finally called her.

At first she denied it, but soon after, she called me crying saying that it happened a couple times when they were drinking. As angry as I was with her, I didn’t really care. I hated Trevor, now more than ever before.

I was so happy with mine and Chances relationship that I just let it go.

Some days, I would spend all of my time in the pool house. I told my father I went in there to study, but I never really studied.

Chance convinced me to enroll in community college, so when September came around I headed to college. I was enrolled in three classes and they kept me busy enough to where I wasn’t dwelling in depression.

After two long months Chance got three days off to come and visit. Buffy never mentioned it to my father, but he was rarely home anyway. Some new strip mall was taking up all of his time. Buffy said she would tell my dad I was staying at a friend’s house so that Chance and I could have the night together.

I drove all the way to the airport myself to pick him up. I was so excited that I missed my exit twice and when I finally pulled up to get him I locked my keys in the car, with it running. While a nice officer got my car opened, I spotted Chance walking towards me. I ran as fast as I could and jumped into his arms. He swung me around as I squeezed him tight.

Chance

Hope had no idea how much I missed her. I couldn’t believe she was finally here in my arms. I tried to get home to see her every week, but my boss was a real prick. Apparently the hotel we were building had a deadline and if we finished it ahead of schedule they got a bonus. The crew had to work on weekends and one guy got one weekend off at a time. Since I was the newest on the crew, I was the last person to get a weekend.

Being away from Hope had been so hard on me, but I tried to keep myself busy. I impressed the bosses by working overtime almost every night. Little did they know it was because I didn’t want to sit in my motel room and miss being with Hope anymore than I already did. I would work late enough to where I could go home and call her, and then crash for the night. I felt like a robot, by falling into the same daily routine for two months.

Having Hope back in my arms felt like heaven. “God Hope, I missed you so much baby.”

She pulled away and pressed her lips against mine. When she pulled away she hugged me again. “I missed you too.”

I looked around and noticed she was alone. “Where is Buffy?”

“She said she wanted to give us the night together. We have a room for the night about a mile from here. Nobody knows.” Hope explained.

I couldn’t help but smile. “Really?”

Hope nodded and bit her lip.

“What are we waiting for then?” I said as I picked her up and carried her to her car. I was surprised when an officer gave Hope her keys.

“I locked them in the car.” She explained while getting into the passenger side.

I climbed in the driver’s side and we made it to the hotel in less than five minutes. Apparently, Buffy had paid cash for a room and reserved it under my name. I held Hope’s hand while we got our key card and headed up to our room. When we got into the elevator I couldn’t control myself. I pulled Hope into my arms and kissed her bottom lip. My tongue slid over it and then made its way into her mouth. When her tongue brushed against mine, I became instantly aroused. It had been too long.

The sound of the elevator opening made us break out of our lip lock. An old woman with a walker waited for us to exit. She was shaking her head and giving us dirty looks. We laughed as we walked past her. Hope and I made it into the hallway and finally located our room. Once the key card slide into the key slot the green light lit and we flung the door open. Our bags dropped at the door and we made it to the bed without even noticing what the room looked like.

Hope’s hands grabbed my shirt and ripped it over my head. Her lips were pressed against mine again. I pulled away. “Don’t you want to slow down?” I asked between kisses.

“No!” She stated as she started kissing me on my chest. I had been standing, but she pulled me down on the bed next to her and started unbuttoning my jeans. “Please don’t slow down Chance. I have waited two months to touch you.”

Her shirt had buttons, but it didn’t once I was finished ripping it open, revealing her see through white bra. It hooked in the front and I didn’t waste time freeing her beautiful breasts. While she finished removing her shirt off of her arms, I cupped both of her breasts and squeezed them with both of my hands. “I missed these.” I whispered.
