Omega's Destiny: Foxes of Scarlet Peak (An M'M Shifter MPreg Romance Book 5)(7)

He pulled his bike up to the front door and shut off the engine. I moved to get off, but Clint stopped me.

“Watch the muffler,” he told me. “You’ll burn yourself. Here, let me help you.”

Clint got off first, and, like a prince, extended his hand. I felt my heart flutter as I took it and he helped me off the side of the bike. Once I was standing, he didn’t release my hand. He just looked at me, his dark brown eyes like two spotlights on me. I instantly knew I couldn’t hide anything from him – even if I wanted to.

I felt like I had to say something to break the silence.

“This – this is where you live?” I asked him, instantly regretting the stupid, obvious question.

He nodded. “It’s not much, but it’s peaceful.”

All I could do was nod back and try not to look down at his dick. After all, he was still naked, and his body was absolutely phenomenal.

His skin was beautifully caramel, and his hair was fiery red with a matching beard. He had muscles on muscles, with veins ready to burst out of his flawless skin. He was in short, drop-dead-fucking-gorgeous, and I was salivating.

“It’s…nice,” I said, not sure whether I meant the trailer or his body.

“Why don’t you come in and I can get that cut cleaned up?” he asked me. But it wasn’t really a question. He was already holding the door open for me.

I had almost forgotten about the cut on my cheek entirely, but as he reminded me, I felt the pain return. The sting of the ambush. I should have seen that coming. I guess I’d just gotten used to the peace between the two gangs and something like that hadn’t even crossed my mind.

I guess that’s what I get for being complacent…I thought. But there was no time to think of that. Not with this glorious naked alpha standing in front of me inviting me into his home.

“Yes, that would…that would be nice,” I said quietly as I walked past him, up the steps and inside.

At nineteen years old, I hadn’t yet lost my virginity. Sometimes I felt uncomfortable about that, but not anymore than I did as I found myself in Clint’s living room, wondering what was going to happen next. Questions spun through my mind like a hurricane.

Is this really going to happen? What if I don’t know what I’m doing? Will he be angry that I’m a virgin?

“Bobby?” I heard Clint’s voice and turned to look down the hall as he peered out from the bathroom. “Come here. Let me clean you up.”

Clint

I tried to hide my erection the best I could as I stepped aside to let him in. As he brushed past me, I felt the warmth of his body and his undeniable scent waft over me. My legs went weak and I braced myself against the wall as he continued on.

The small cut on Bobby’s face made my stomach turn and I felt a surge of rage swell within me as I dabbed at it with a wet washcloth, wiping away the dried blood. I heard a sharp intake of breath from him and stopped and turned my eyes to his.

They were a beautiful color, green verging on gray. I’d never seen eyes like that before, and I certainly hadn’t felt the way I felt when I looked into them before – not since Chris.

“Does it hurt?” I asked him.

“Just a little,” he replied.

Fuck, he’s cute!

“Almost finished,” I told him, taking a clean, dry cloth and wiping his cheek dry. I squirted a small dab of antiseptic ointment onto my finger and gently spread it over his cut, then covered it with a Band-Aid. “There. All done.”

I should have stood up and gone to the kitchen to get him a drink or something, but I couldn’t move. As I looked at him, it was like I was hypnotized by his eyes. They commanded me to stay as his smell dripped over me like an expensive perfume that had been designed just for me.

Every fiber of my being was urging me to lean in and kiss him. I wanted my tongue in his mouth and my cock in his ass, but I could see he was still nervous. He’d never done something like this before – come back with a guy. And I hadn’t been with anyone since Chris. We both knew what was going on, but were both hesitant.

“Who were those assholes?” I asked him finally, breaking the silence.

Bobby practically jumped when I spoke, and replied quickly. “The Crimson Horses. Biker gang my club does business with.”

“You ride with a club?” I asked him.

He frowned and nodded. “The Black Cross. We do business with the Crimson Horses, but tonight must have been some kind of setup.”

“Jack your merchandise and fuck you up,” I agreed, feeling my anger rising within me again. “Think your boys set you up?”

“Not sure,” Bobby replied. He looked down and I suddenly felt sorry for him. This was a lost boy, and I instantly understood. He didn’t want to be running with those boys. He had to be. Whatever the reasons, probably money, he was doing what he had to just to survive.

I leaned forward and lifted his chin, bringing his eyes to mine. Again, his gaze hit me like a truck. I tried not to gasp as I looked at him.

“You shouldn’t be mixed up with men like that,” I told him. “I should know. I used to be like them. It’s not a life you want to be involved in.”

“I – I know,” he stammered. “But…I have no choice.”
