Four Week Fiance (Four Week Fiance #1)(56)

“They are voting in four weeks,” he said with a smile. “If they buy my act as a man in love, looking to get married and have kids, they will probably approve my seat on the board. Once that happens, we can break up or whatever. They won’t be able to remove me.”

“Isn’t that a lie, though?” I frowned.

“The investors love me.” He shrugged. “It’s the board that’s acting like dicks. I don’t care if I have to tell a small lie to get my rightful position on the board. It is my dad’s company, after all.”

“He can’t just give you a seat?”

“It doesn’t work like that.” He shook his head. “There will be a vote.”

“Oh, I see.” I bit my lower lip. “So you want me to pretend to be your fiancée for four weeks?”

“Maybe a little over four weeks.” He nodded. “Just until I get my seat on the board. It will help me. And also it will help you, too.”

“How will it help me?”

“Cody won’t think you’re a slut.” He laughed and I shook my head at him. “And he won’t kill me.”

“Uh huh.” I rolled my eyes.

“Plus, it will be fun.” He grinned. “It doesn’t have to be in name only.”

“What do you mean?”

“We can have all the perks of being engaged.” He grinned and ran his finger across my collarbone. “You can stay with me. I’ll give you a credit card and a weekly allowance.”

“Stay with you? Credit card?” My eyebrows rose.

“Of course you’ll stay with me.” His voice was adamant. “In my bed. And we’ll make sweet love every morning and every night.”

“You didn’t even sleep with me last night,” I said, still feeling hurt.

“I didn’t want to make love last night.” His eyes bore into mine. “I wanted to f*ck you. Hard. Without a rubber.” He paused. “And I wasn’t about to let that happen.”

“Why not?” I squeaked out.

“Because you’re a virgin.” He spoke softer now. “I’m not going to let your first time be like that. Plus, we need to take better precautions. You need to go on the pill.”

“Why? You have condoms.”

“When I take you, I want you to feel all of me,” he muttered. “My skin next to your skin.”

“Aren’t there condoms that feel like real skin?” I asked softly.

“No,” he said and smirked. “There is no lambskin that will feel as good and as raw as my skin next to you as I fill you up.”

“I see.” I swallowed hard, barely believing I was having this conversation.

“So, will you do it? Will you be my fake fiancée?” TJ asked with a wide smile.

“I don’t know.” I shook my head and sat up. I needed to get out of the room and take everything in. I needed to talk to Sally. I was already so confused about so many things. I didn’t know which way was up right now. “I need to go and shower.”

“We can shower together.”

“No.” I shook my head. “I need to shower alone.”

“Aw.” He pouted. “I could make it worth your while.”

“TJ.” I groaned. “Stop tempting me.”

“Why? You tempt me every time you look at me with those innocent come-f*ck-me eyes.”

“How can innocent eyes say come f*ck me?” I asked with a small smile.

“Shh.” He laughed. “Stop the sass before I change my mind and have my wicked way with you right now.”

“Why don’t you?” I said and let my sheet fall down. I stood up and got out of the bed, my naked body shivering in the cool air.

“You tease.” He groaned and got out of the bed as well. His body looked strong and magnificent as he stood there in front of me. I made the mistake of looking down and I saw his erection pointing directly at me, proud and hard. I waited for him to pull me into his arms eagerly. I was more than ready for him to take me. In fact, I was feeling as if I should just push him down on the bed and jump on top of him. That would shock him for sure.

“Put your negligee on and go back to your room before we don’t leave this room for the next four hours.” He bent down and picked up my nightgown and handed it to me. I took it from him, disappointed.

“So you want me to leave?”

“I don’t want you to leave, but I do want your answer.” He sighed. “You need to understand what’s going on between us. I like you, Mila. I want you. Badly. But we need to be on the same page about everything.”

“We are,” I said as I slipped the negligee back on.

“No, we’re not.” He grimaced. “I didn’t even know you were a virgin. And I don’t know if you really know who I am, either. This engagement isn’t just about business. I want to get to know you better. I want to do things with you that aren’t PG or even in the bedroom. I’m going to take you to new heights, Mila.”

“I want you to.”

“I know.” He frowned. “That’s what scares me.”

“There you are.” Sally’s jaw dropped as I snuck back into the room and closed the door behind me. “Oh shit, did you sleep with TJ?”
