Wild Chance (Wild Irish Universe)(23)

Her eyes watered but she breathed through her nose.

“Shit!” Aedan growled. “You’re so sexy.”

He released her, and Mona hit the floor on her ass, panting yet smiling.

“Are you ready?”

To reply, she pushed to her feet, faced away from him with her elbows on the sofa and hiked her ass in the air.

Aedan took her strong and fast from behind. He drove halfway and pulled her back the rest of the way. He hit so deep, her eyes widened, and she slammed her fist into the sofa to keep from shouting with joy.

“No, you don’t.” Aedan said, gripping her hips tighter and fucking her harder and faster. “I want your entire neighbourhood to know precisely what I’m doing to you. And how much you’re enjoying it.”

He drove into her.

“Come on, a stórín. Scream for me.”

But Mona was disobedient. She wanted to see if she could control it. There was no way he could make her do things she never imagined she’d ever do. But as he used her body, she didn’t realize she’d screamed until the echo bounced off the walls and returned to her. An orgasm curled through her and she dropped her face to the couch.

“Once more for me, my little darling,” Aedan cooed.

They switched positions.

Aedan sat on the sofa and she climbed on. Using his shoulders as her leverage, Mona rode him hard and fast until he wrapped his strong arms around her and pulled her into his chest. She kissed the side of his head then pulled his earlobe between her teeth. “Come for me, Aedan.” she whispered, flicking the flesh there with her tongue. “I’m ready.”

That must have been the password. His fingers dug into the flesh of her ass and soon, the condom bulged inside her. Mona whimpered and melted into his chest. She kissed his ear then slumped heavily against him.

Aedan managed to get Mona into the bedroom and cuddled into his chest before he drifted off into a blissful snooze. Though he wasn’t sure how long he’d been asleep. But when he opened his eyes, moonlight streamed in through the window. His leg was sore for he had gotten into bed with the prosthetic. But how was he to have controlled what happened between himself and Mona the moment he realized she’d disobeyed him? He smiled in the dark and pulled her closer into his side. Though he wanted to go back to sleep, he couldn’t. His leg was bothering him, and he was sure he shouldn’t be spending the night.

With a groan, he rolled over, reluctantly pulled his arm from beneath her and sat up.

“Aedan?”

The way she said his name was breath-taking—softly, sleep-sexily, sweetly.

“Mmm?”

“What’s wrong?”

He shifted to look down at her. The moonlight casted a beautiful glow on her skin. He reached down and dragged a finger against her bare shoulder. “Nothing is wrong—not really. My leg his bothering me and I don’t want to overstay my welcome.”

“You can’t really ride home if your leg is bothering you.” She sat up. “You shouldn’t.”

“It’s just sore. That was more activity than the leg was built for.”

Mona wrapped one of the sheets around her body and scooted from the bed. She made her way over to the door and flipped on the overhead lights. Aedan winced at the sudden change in illumination but opened his eyes to see her slipping to her knees before him.

“Let me see.”

He tilted his head. “Mona, you really don’t have to…”

“That wasn’t a question, Aedan. Let me see.”

With a sigh, Aedan straightened his leg for her to inspect the prosthetic.

“Show me how to take it off.”

“Don’t. If you remove it, it’s going to be a while before I can put it back on.”

“Do you really want to leave, Aedan?”

A smile traced his lips. He could feel it tugging the corners of his mouth wide. “Of course not. But we’ve only just started this. I don’t want you to feel as if I’m rushing you by inviting myself to spend the night.”

“I’m inviting you. Now, show me how to take this thing off. I don’t want to break it.”

The bravery in her voice humbled him. The strength in the way she looked up at him as she demanded from him something every other woman had run away from, made him absolutely shook. With a tender hand, he took one of hers and moved it up the fake leg to the side where the pins sat. He dragged her fingers down it. “Grip here. Good, now lift toward my knee.”

When she did, there was a clicking sound. He then moved her hand to the other side and repeated the process. Once that happened, he held his calf of the leg and tugged gently. The stumped lifted out. But Mona didn’t back away. She set the leg against the wall then knelt again to remove the sock.

“Do you have ointment for when it gets like this?” She asked, tracing his leg with a tender finger.

“Yes. It’s in my cycle pack.”

“Okay then.” Mona rose and picked up her keys off the bedside table.

Aedan grabbed her hand. “Mona—are we going to talk about this?”

“Why is it so hard for you to allow a woman to take care of you?” Mona countered. “I’m not letting you win at this. Tonight, you’re in my home and I will cater to you because I have a feeling you’ve never had that before. Have you?”
