VICTORIOUS (A Quantum Novel)(46)

“Have what both ways?”

“I love that you couldn’t care less about my money, but with that comes your fierce independence, which I also respect.”

“I’m not with you because of your money.”

“I know that, sweetheart. That’s what I’m saying. I appreciate that you don’t care about the money, but the fact is, I have more of it than I can ever spend in a lifetime. Hell, in two lifetimes. And seeing you worried or upset about paying off those loans after you lost your job because of me… I had to fix that for you. I hope you can try to understand my perspective.”

“It was nice of you. I won’t deny that, but the way you did it was wrong. We talked about it, I told you I wanted some time to figure out how to handle the loans, and you disregarded my wishes. I’m not going to put up with that, Flynn. I don’t care who you are.”

“Come here.”

“What? We’re going to eat, and we’re having a conversation.”

“Come. Here.”

Aggravated, I get up from my seat and stand in front of his. “I’m here. What do you want?”

He reaches for me and brings me down on his lap, the plug bouncing off his thighbone and making me gasp from the sensations.

“What has gotten into you?”

“You have. You’re so deep inside me, I don’t know where I leave off and you begin.” He kisses me. “What you just said…”

“What did I say?”

“‘I don’t care who you are.’”

“Don’t take that the wrong way.”

“I took it exactly the right way. You don’t care who I am, and I love you for that. I love you so f*cking much.”

“You’re crazy, you know that?”

“Maybe so, but you can’t know how precious it is for me to love a woman who would dare to say those words to me.”

“Have I earned another punishment?” I ask with a coy smile. I’m deeply moved by what he said and that he’s not afraid to tell me how he feels.

“Nah. I could never punish you for being the perfect woman for me. Besides, that’s in there, not out here. I’ll never punish you for something you do in our regular life. That’s not what we agreed to.”

“Then no more buzzing in the butt?”

“I never said that. That’s part of your punishment, which you earned in there.”

He cups my ass cheek and squeezes. “Knowing you’re wearing my plug is such a huge turn-on, sweetheart. It makes me so hot.”

“It makes me pretty hot, too, especially when you turn on the vibration.”

“So you like it?”

“I’ll never admit to that out of fear of being forced to regularly wear one in public.”

His satisfied grin is positively sinister. “Too late. You basically already admitted it.” His fingers delve deeper between my cheeks to press against the base of the plug.

“Flynn, stop. She’ll be back any second, and you’ll embarrass her.”

He swivels the chair so it faces away from the galley. “She can’t see what we’re doing.”

“Come on… Not out here.”

“Someday,” he says against my ear, “you may end up naked and plugged and bound in public for me.”

His words send a shudder through me, making me forget all about the four orgasms I’ve already had today. Suddenly, four is nowhere near enough.

“Someday isn’t today,” I manage to say, even though my throat has gotten tight and my mouth has gone dry at the thought of being on display in the way he described.

“Does the thought of that turn you on?”

“No.”

His erection presses against my bottom. “If I were to put my hand into your panties right now, would I discover you’re lying?”

“Don’t do that.”

“Answer the question.”

“Maybe.”

He laughs at my reply and hugs me tightly. “You can feel what the thought of that does to me.”

“Is that your ultimate fantasy? To do that, with me, in public?”

“One of them.”

“What’re the others?”

“I’d so much rather show you than tell you.”

“You just want me unprepared and unaware.”

“Doesn’t the not knowing make it so much hotter?”
