Unexpected Eva (Triple Trouble #3)(115)

“It’s too much,” I cry.

“It’s not enough,” he growls.

He spanks my clit, once, then again, as he pushes his thumb deeper into my back entrance, and with one more strike, I let go, giving him what he wants and come. Releasing all the hurt and pain from the last two weeks.

So does he.

Gentle waves of happy pleasure hum across my skin.

We are perfectly in sync with one another.

He moves in and out of my body slowly, emptying himself inside of me, escorting me out of my fizzy ecstasy. He looks at me in the mirror over my shoulder.

“Se’agapó,” I whisper to him. I love you.

His eyes go wide with amusement.

He knows I figured out what he was saying to me all those weeks ago. Well, I Googled it. He was hiding from me. Too scared to share his true feelings for me. Protecting himself.

He doesn’t have to anymore.

“You speak Greek now?” His deep chocolate eyes meet my blue ones.

“When in Rome and all that.”

He kisses me softly on my shoulder. “We’re in Greece.”

“I know that.”

“Se’agapó.” He smiles back at me in the mirror.

CHAPTER 32

Knox

The next morning, I still can’t believe she came to me. In Athens.

I didn’t need a sundial compass to find her. She found me.

“What are we doing today?” She stretches out her beautiful body in the bed.

I can’t take my eyes off her.

“Anything you want. I’m not sure you’re ready to meet my crazy, loud family. Maybe save that for another day.”

“Do they have food?” She shifts onto her side, moves in close, and lifts her leg up onto my hip.

“Lots, and it’s the best in Athens. They have a restaurant.” I kiss her softly.

“Then we will go to see them today. I want to meet them.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes. If they are all as handsome as you, I’m in for a great day of perving.”

I pull her into me and squeeze her backside.

“You should only have eyes for me.”

“I do. But behind my sunglasses, anything could happen.”

She’s always teasing me.

“When are the boys arriving?”

“Later this afternoon with Mom and Dad.” We are moving to a family suite later today. I also booked Charlie and Edith a separate suite too, there are staying for a few days. Which can only be a good sign.

“Your father and I need to talk. I’m not looking forward to the conversation with him.” I groan.

“He feels bad about your face and about his behavior.” She kisses my eyelid. “The bruising looks better than it did yesterday.”

“It needed sunshine to heal.”

She exhales a long sigh of contentment.

She’s happy.

Me too.

I sit back in my chair around the poolside.

“One, two, three, jump, Hamish!” Eva stands in the pool, arms outstretched as Hamish leaps into her arms, and he squeals in delight as he hits the heated water, splashing it everywhere.

It’s not warm today. February in Athens is much milder than their searing heat of summer. When I get in that water later, I will be grateful for choosing a hotel that heats their outdoor pool over the cooler months.

Eva’s water babies. I class those boys as my own. They’ve scooped out a piece of my heart, then replaced and repacked themselves inside of it.

I’m not complaining.

I like this feeling. Contentment.

“You love her?”

“I do, Charlie.” I run my finger around the rim of my glass.

Charlie and Edith arrived in Athens with them last night. They left me, Eva, and the boys to spend the evening together.

Hamish and Archie were excited to see me. They even brought the toys I bought for them at the zoo, waving them about as they ran into my arms.

I haven’t seen Hamish and Archie for over two weeks. I missed them. I think Archie has sprouted again. He’s going to be tall, I reckon.

Edith and Charlie asked to speak with me first thing in the morning. Thinking about how this morning would pan out, I didn’t sleep very well last night.

I feel like the worst guy in the world for keeping my relationship with their daughter a secret and at the same time the luckiest, because she’s here with me now and we’re having a three-week family vacation together.

Family vacation. I couldn’t be happier.

I had an epiphany last night. It was like I could see everything as clear as crystal.

As soon as it came to me, I called Lincoln. He is joining us today, within the next couple of hours. It’s what we need. To bond us together as a new fivesome. I booked his flight and hotel. He was under strict instructions to come.

Fuck the hotel. My managers are awesome. It’s time Linc and I enjoyed a bit more leisure time. All I’ve done is work my whole life. I’ve had three vacations since I took over from my father ten years ago. And the dance retreat vacation I came for doesn’t count as it was a research business trip. I have to learn how to switch off, or as Eva says, chill out.

I’m not setting a good example for my son if I don’t show him there is much more to life than the hotel and spa.
