I had no idea that I would write six Mercy books. It felt good to write about these people again. Mason Callahan has been an important character in my books since my debut novel, Hidden, came out in 2012. Don’t be surprised if he and Ava pop up in future books. I love returning to old characters, and according to the emails I receive, my readers do too.
