Take, for example, this picture of what appears to be our favorite couple, nestled together on an undisclosed rooftop to watch the sunrise! (Apologies for the grainy image quality—near-darkness and iPhone zoom lenses don’t quite do justice to distance shots, especially when shot from street level and its subjects are several stories up!) SO. I’ve got QUESTIONS, and I’m sure you do, too.
One: Did this new development have anything to do with why Gemma Gardner dropped Ransom out of nowhere recently? (In other words, is it possible our lovable Ransy was cheating on her? I know, I know, it pains me to type that all out like that, and I honestly don’t think he would, BUT a girl has to be thorough in her journalism, amirite?) Two: When did this start? They’ve known each other for twenty years now—did they secretly date back when the show was on the air and we just never knew about it? Or did one—or both!—have feelings for the other they never acted on in all this time? Orrrrrrr—and I hate to go there, but again, this is me Being Thorough in Serious Journalism—is this all just a carefully orchestrated publicity stunt leading up to the Girl on the Verge reunion special? Think about it: they’re either being verrrrrry careful in how/where they see each other, or they’re… not… actually… seeing each other. I trust my source more than I have all-caps SUSPICIONS, but shrug the lacking-in-quality evidence raises questions, is all.
Three: If this is indeed real, do we think it will last? I, for one, do NOT care to see Ransom Joel’s beautiful, beautiful heart broken again—especially not by Liv Latimer, the most perfect butterfly of an actress to ever exist. Honestly, it would ruin the entire show if they split in real life, IMHO… and I hope they realize what ruining the entire show would do to the fans who’ve been with them since Day One. (Okay, personal confession time: Did I ever tell you guys about the friendship bracelet I made for Liv after those episodes where they were at camp? She even wrote back, and it was legit, not just one of those prewritten things they send to everyone who writes in—I was going through some stuff back then, and getting that letter was EVERYTHING. SO. Stakes are high here, at least for me, personally. Liv, if you’re out there, please don’t ruin this—I’ll have to throw away the friendship bracelet you sent back if you do, because UGH I will not be able to handle it. Okay? Okay.) Sorry not sorry for that large and unexpected dose of Highly Personal Information, a thing we try to steer clear of here at YHIHF! (except, of course, when it comes to other people’s highly personal information, without which this site would not exist ). In this case, though, it needed to be said because UGHHHH the stakes are just so, so high with this one. It’s not just me who feels that way, right? Sound off in the comments if you, too, are all up in your feelings over this and are also in danger of possibly losing your collective sh*t if this ship goes up in flames!

Personally, I think it’s irresponsible for you to not tell us the source. How are we supposed to believe this is even a thing without knowing if the source is credible? And without good photos? I’m sorry, but that hardly even looks like Liv and Ransom. Headline is misleading, says “EVERYTHING” we need to know, and, like, this entire article is just full of stupid questions? Still holding out hope Ransom’s single bc he could do so much better with, oh, say, this cute girl I know who’s just right down the road in Manhattan Beach ;) @abbeyyyyy17

@hamstertroll Cleeeeeeearly you’re trying to pick a fight here, but can I just say, it says a lot that you make a point to seek out and comment on each and every one of my GotV posts—your dedication is admirable, and it’s okay, none of us are going to give you a hard time for being a grown man who wept like a baby at the series finale. ;) (Yes, I know how to play this game, too, and you can 100% bet I found those secret blog posts you published that you probably didn’t realize were connected to your Flitterbird handle via simple search algorithms.
