Thank you to the many teachers who fostered my love of reading, particularly Mrs. DiMassa, Mrs. Gallagher, and Mrs. Gibson at Lauralton Hall. Mrs. Gibson, you read an essay about a confirmation dress (and later a cheerleading ribbon) and told me I had true talent. (I still have that blue binder.) To teachers, librarians, book bloggers, and booksellers: thank you. I hope you know how special you are.
