The Billionaire's Secret Love Child(100)

I hammered the breaks in an attempt to stop myself from colliding with the snow bank, but it was futile on the snowy road. The tires locked up and I slammed into the mound of ice and snow. The skinny man danced his way off the hood of the car before we collided, and before I knew he was pulling the door off the side of the car.

Everything became a bit hazy, and I felt a bit of blood dripping down my forehead. The skinny man began to wrap his arms around me in an attempt to pry me from the car, but it wouldn’t work. A large hand smacked him in the chest, and he flew into the side of a nearby truck, leaving a hefty sized dent.

Marcus offered me a hand out of the car, and I took it happily.

“We need to leave, now.” Marcus said.

In the distance I could hear a police siren wailing. It seemed almost too soon for the police to arrive, but soon or not, it spelled trouble. Then the sun disappeared.

Marcus shifted. I had never seen anything so amazing in my entire life. A true dragon stood before me, his thick scales covering every inch of his powerful, lithe body. His elongated neck and pointed tail wrapped circled around me as his leathery wings shot towards the sky.

“Get on!” he shouted.

I did as I was told. I climbed over his shoulders and sat down holding onto his neck as tightly as I could. The wind he swept up was so powerful that he created a small tornado. He scrambled down the road while beating his wings and in a few seconds we were in the air.

The wind bit at my ears and nose and my hands had nearly frozen solid holding onto his neck, but I wouldn’t have given it up for a second. It was a truly breathtaking experience riding on the back of a dragon.

“Are you alright?” he asked.

I couldn’t settle my thoughts and process what he was saying there was just too much to see and feel.

“Emily?” he asked again.

“I’m fine,” I said, managing to muster a couple words.

“I’ll take us a few miles out, and then we’re going to have to find a place to set down for the day. If I get spotted out here, there’s a good chance that I’ll get famous.” Marcus said.

I just nodded and held tightly to his back. I could feel his heart beating in his chest almost to the same beat of his wings. It mustered up feelings I had been trying to suppress for a while. This wonderful and powerful man was willing to protect me from three terrible people. Here I was, having his child grow inside me and I couldn’t help but fall back in love with him.

I thought back to the first night that I had met him. I remember seeing him swimming in the lake near the end of summer and me taking the chance to hide his clothes so I might get a better look at him.

I’m sure he caught on that I was there because I saw him pause for a moment and smile. I can’t say I thought much of it then, but he must have known. I was such a fool, only now realizing how truly na?ve I was.

I let out a gleeful squeal as we continued to fly. The motion of his wings moved me up and down the lower portion of his neck, rubbing my sex along his scales. I think he began to notice my arousal as we started slowly descending towards the hills.

With a thud we landed near an old hunting lodge that looked like it hadn’t been used in a few years. Marcus sauntered over to the small door window and peered inside.

“It’s empty, maybe there’ll be some clothes I can change into,” he said.

He lowered his neck close to the ground, and I slid off. I hadn’t realized it till just now but I was feeling incredibly flush. Maybe it was the fight or flight response, or maybe it was the ride and the sensation of being in the clouds with nothing but a man beneath my legs. Whichever it was, I couldn’t empty it out of my thoughts.

“You know, I could use a rest. Maybe we can get a fire started and rest for a little while?” I said.

Marcus nodded.

“Are you going to shift back?” I asked.

“I will, but I’ll need some clothes first.” He replied.

“No you don’t.” I retorted coyly while giving him my best ‘come-hither’ gesture. I backed into the lodge and waited in the doorway.

Marcus smiled back and shifted back to human. My mind went wild seeing him like this. I remembered being lifted up by those powerful shoulders the first time we spent the night together. But, I don’t remember them being that toned. Almost like my memory of him was trying to find any imperfection as an excuse to avoid seeing him again.

As he took one step closer I began to strip out of my jacket. I didn’t mind the cold anymore; I had other things on my mind.

He stepped further forward, and I moved further into the lodge. It was cozy inside, still cold but at least out of the wind. The stove in the middle almost gave me a trip as I made my way toward the small bed fit snug against the wall. I flicked off my boots as he shut the door behind him and continued to gain ground.

“I never stopped thinking about you-“he started to say, but I cut him off by putting a finger to his lips. He pulled me into him and I could feel his warmth now. He craned his neck down and stole a kiss from my lips.

He hooked his hand under my shirt and began to caress my waist. I could feel his rough skin slowly move up and down and settle on the small of my back for a moment.

He reached up with his other hand and peeled the shirt from my torso. My cold nipples pressed against his bare skin. I grabbed his hair and pulled his mouth into mine for another kiss.
