Soulless Devil (Sons of Valentino #3)(28)

“I’m going to…” I don’t finish my sentence as my whole body seizes up, and a hurricane of tingling pleasure rips through me.

“Yes, squeeze my cock. So. Fucking. Good,” he says as he empties himself. Romeo falls on top of me. We’re both fighting to catch our breath. Picking his head up, he smiles down at me. “Please tell me we can do that again, because I think I might just die if I never get to feel your pussy choking my cock again.”

I laugh. “Who knew you were such a sweet talker?”

“I’ll be anything you want me to be if you let me do that.”

“Mmm, I think that can be arranged.” I smile, reach up, bring his face down to mine, and lose myself in his kiss.

Chapter Fifteen

I wonder if it’s too late to change majors? I don’t like not being in the same classes as Livvy. I hated leaving her this morning when she had to go. The only consolation is she agreed to meet me in the cafeteria for lunch. Which is where I find myself now. Waiting for her. Every time the door opens, my eyes scan the students entering. I look at my watch for the hundredth time. She’s not late.

Ten minutes past the time we said we’d meet isn’t late. Is it?

Fucking hell, I just need to lay my eyes on her. I need to know she’s okay. Maybe I should text her…

“You need to take a fucking chill pill, bro. Relax. She’ll be here.”

“I’m relaxed,” I tell Luca through gritted teeth.

“Sure you are.” He laughs, throwing a fry at my face.

“How do you know she’ll be here?” I ask him—pathetic, I know.

“Because, for some unknown reason, she likes you.” He shrugs.

“You like me,” I remind him.

“You’re my brother, my twin. I kind of have to like you.”

“Nope, you could like Theo or Matteo more than me, but I’m your favorite brother,” I remind him.

“Again, twin. Also, Theo? Really, if anyone was in the running to take your place as favorite, it’d be Matteo. At least he knows how to have a good time,” Luca says.

“You think Theo would be different if he didn’t have to take over? I mean, it can’t be easy trying to follow in Pops’s footsteps.”

“Pops isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, and Theo just needs to relax and pull that stick out of his grumpy old ass.”

“Fuck, I hope we never get that grumpy when we’re as old as he is.”

“Never. We’ll always be fun. Well, I’ll be fun and you’ll be with me so that counts,” Luca says.

The door opens again and I finally let out the breath I didn’t know I was holding. Livvy walks in and looks around the cafeteria. She seems flustered. When she finds where we’re sitting, she walks over and takes the chair next to me. “Sorry I’m late. I forgot a textbook I need for my next class and had to run back to my dorm,” she says, avoiding eye contact with me.

Luca leans over the table, his gaze narrowed at Livvy. “Who the fuck made you cry?” he growls.

My head snaps to the side. Taking Livvy’s chin in my hand, I turn her face around until she’s looking at me. She peers up at me with wide eyes. “I’m fine,” she says, trying to bat my hand away.

“You’ve been crying. What happened?” I ask, my voice calm.

“I haven’t. I just have really bad hay fever.”

“In winter? Doubtful,” I tell her. Leaning down, I meld my lips with hers. I kiss her like I can take away all of her worries. Whatever has upset her, I’ll fix it. I pull away and she blinks her eyes back open. “Want to try again? What happened?”

“I… it’s nothing. I’m fine. Let’s just drop it. Please,” she pleads with me.

I really don’t want to drop it. Not at all. But I can tell this isn’t something she wants to talk about right now. “This conversation isn’t over,” I grunt, my hand falling away from her chin.

“Fucking whore!”

I hear the words right before a tray comes flying in Livvy’s direction. My arm reaches around her, deflecting the projectile. Luca is on his feet within seconds while I’m shoving Livvy behind me. “What the fuck did you just say?” I yell at the pathetic cheerleader standing in front of me.

“I didn’t stutter, Romeo. You know, if you’re going to fuck around on me, at least have the decency to do it in private.”

Luca’s laugh echoes through the now-quiet cafeteria. “Oh my god! You have got to be fucking kidding me.”

“Shut up, Luca, I wasn’t talking to you.” The girl, whose name I can’t fucking recall, hisses at him.

“No, you were just leaving and taking your crazy with you,” my twin fires back at her.

“Come on, Romeo, you can’t seriously be this stupid,” the chick directs at me before looking around my shoulder to Livvy. “Honey, do yourself a favor and walk away now before you embarrass yourself any further. This little game Romeo likes to play with girls is getting old. Don’t think you’re the first and you won’t be the last either. Just know that when he’s done with you, he’ll come running back to me.” She smirks.

“What fucking drugs are you on?” I hiss at her.
