Sizzle (Bad Boy Rockers) (Volume 1)(71)
“No. He’s changed, and I don’t know why,” she replied with tears on her face.
Liam wrapped his arms around her and started to kiss her tears away.
Thalia, snuggled closer to me, and just held on.
“Are you all done with this mushy shit? There’s work to be done,” Ryder announced.
I scowled at him, which of course he ignored.
“Phoenix, you go and do what you have to. It will give Callie and me time to catch up before you put your hands on me again.” She offered me a wicked grin, and then placed a hot kiss to my lips before walking over to Callie and planting her ass on the chair across from her, which Reece had just vacated.
“Stop licking your lips and get your shit together before Ryder really does start getting pissed,” Reece said, grinning like an idiot in front of me.
“So, what’s with you and Callie?”
“I’m so not going there... I’m going to head down to the cellar to see if anything needs doing before Ryder shouts for help when I’m fixing the drums – like he usually does. If I didn’t know any better I’d say he f*cking did it deliberately,” Reece grumbled walking behind the bar, but not before I caught him giving Callie another lingering look.
“I’m going to take Mia by the lake for a short while so we’ll see you guys later,” Liam said.
“Okay, don’t miss the show.”
“No chance of that, Phoenix,” Mia replied.
I glanced at Thalia, who’d heard Mia call me Phoenix. She didn’t look impressed at all.
Mia had noticed the look on Thalia’s face as well, “Oh, don’t be worrying. I know all about Phoenix and that you’re the only one allowed to use it. I just wanted to tease him. On that note I think we’ll go make-out.” She grinned, took hold of Liam’s hand and dragged him out of the bar.
Chapter 54
Thalia
––––––––
“What the hell is going on between you and Reece? And don’t tell me nothing. You looked all...ah... flustered when you saw me with him,” I asked Callie, the minute we were alone. I grinned at her, “And you do now.”
“He’s, um, nice.”
I raised an eyebrow. She called Reece, nice? It certainly wasn’t a word I would have used to describe him. “Nice?”
She had started to blush much to my amusement. “Spill. Now. I want to know what happened between the two of you after Phoenix took me back to his place.” I leaned across the table real eager to hear what she had to say, because I was really not expecting her to take up with Reece. Donovan had been the one to catch my eye for Callie.
While I was sitting in my seat I could see the wheels turning in her head as she tried to decide what to tell me. I knew her better than she would prefer.
“I’m still waiting.”
“Ugh. You’re impossible.” She huffed, glared at me while I started to take a drink, and then grinned. “He’s pierced and has a lot of tattoos, and who said it was just Reece?”
I started to choke.
“Babe, what the hell,” Phoenix appeared and started to pat me on the back, actually it was more like hitting me on the back.
“Stop.”
Taking a deep breath, I glared at my best friend who was still sitting in her chair, laughing. Although she did look embarrassed.
I turned to Phoenix who was hovering at the side of me. “Is Reece pierced?” I knew it wasn’t his nipple because he’d gone without his t-shirt a few times.
His eyes opened wide. He turned and gave Callie a quick glance then looked back at me. “Maybe.”
Smiling, I walked straight into his space, took hold of his face and kissed him real slow. When his hand landed on my butt to pull me in closer, I moved down to his ear and nibbled, then whispered, “Where is he pierced?”
“You’re playing dirty,” he groaned when my hand landed on his pierced nipple.
“Same place as me,” he whispered.
“You mean,” I held my index finger up and wiggled it, “on the end?”
He quickly covered my hand and laughed, but looked embarrassed. “Yeah. Fuck, Thalia.”
Phoenix turned and walked back to the stage, but kept glancing at me over his shoulder.
Laughing, I plopped down back in my seat and grinned at Callie. “So, you, Reece, and Donovan, huh? I actually thought you’d go for just Donovan. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I like Reece; tattoos, bad mouth, pierced wood and all, but I thought Donovan might have been more to your liking, at least based on your usual standards. So you did the dirty with them. Tell me, was it hot with two guys at once?”
She had a dreamy look on her face. “What do you think?”
“I think you better get talking before I pour your drink all over you.”
“They have talented mouths.”
“And?”
“Your turn,” she said grinning.
“Ugh, I hate it when you do this...Okay. Ah, Phoenix has a pierced nipple, which makes me so damn hot.”
“Reece gave me two orgasms with his mouth, and so did Donovan. Now, I want something hotter than a pierced nipple from you,” she told me pointing her finger at me.
My cheeks started to feel warm with the blush working it’s way up my face, but I braved her glare. “We did a sixty-nine, and all I can say is wow. Phoenix knows how to use his mouth, and I love touching his junk, but you know, all he has to do is look at me and my panties are wet. In fact, I think we need to change the subject.” As soon as those words left my mouth, I felt a hand on my shoulder.
