Sebastian (Bowen Boys, #5)(59)

“So we just watch over the realms and do what it needs to keep them running.” He told her pretty much that was it. “I don’t understand what the deal is then. I mean, if it runs so well with you, why do they need me?”

“Because you’re their queen. It is as it’s always been.” He bowed before her. “You will be fine, my lady. Simply do what you do best and things will work out.”

She hoped so as they made their way back home. She certainly hoped so. She was ready to begin her life with Sebastian and maybe have a few children. She leaned back against Sebastian’s shoulder as they rode home.

“I love you.” He held her tighter. “When we get home, I’d very much like to hear about having a baby with you and this going into heat thing.”

He laughed. “We might have to practice a great deal before we get it right. The baby making part, I mean.”

She didn’t care so long as she could practice with him. Closing her eyes, she thought about little boys that looked just like their daddy, and little girls with long blonde hair. Ama knew that they would probably look nothing like she thought, but she didn’t care. She would be happy simply to have someone she would be proud to raise. And a mate to do it with.

Life was good.
