Love In Between(36)
He softly rubbed my clit in small circles as his fingers moved in and out of me fluently. I started moaning. “Luke, I’m going to come. Don’t stop, please.”
“I won’t stop. I want to feel you come with my fingers inside you.”
This man knew what he was doing, and I wanted more of him. I wanted to feel every inch of him inside me. My body shook as I climaxed, and every tingling nerve in my body heightened. The flickering light of the fire showed off his beautiful smile as he brought me to orgasm. I moaned quietly even though I wanted to scream from the pleasure, but I was afraid someone would hear me.
Luke didn’t say a word; he just stared at me and smiled as he gently removed his fingers from me. I brought him down to me and kissed his warm lips. “I want to have sex with you,” I whispered.
He took the back of his hand and gently stroked my cheek. “We aren’t going to have sex, Lily. We’re going to make love, and it’s going to be beautiful, but not tonight and not here.”
I couldn’t speak. I was lost in his stare and his words. “We should get going; you have school tomorrow, and I have a broken garbage disposal that needs to be fixed.”
I laughed, but I didn’t want our night to end. Luke stood up and put the bonfire out. Moments later, he took my hand and helped me up from the sand; then he pulled me into him and kissed me. I smiled as we held each other and danced for a minute.
We climbed into the Jeep, and I sat there, thinking about how he never told me a thing about his ex-fiancée or the accident. I wanted to know everything about him. I sighed, and he reached over, taking my hand.
“Is everything alright?” he asked.
I looked over at him and smiled. “Everything’s perfectly fine.”

When we arrived home, I walked around and helped Lily out of the Jeep. I took her hand and walked her to her apartment. I couldn’t stop thinking about what happened and how much she enjoyed it. Feeling the inside of her was incredible, and hearing her moan as I gave her pleasure was heart-stopping. My feelings for her were strong—stronger than I’d ever imagined. I needed her in ways I didn’t understand. Every time she smiled at me, I grew weaker.
“Please come in and have a beer,” she said innocently.
I couldn’t resist her and the tone she used. “That’d be great, thanks.” I smiled.
She threw her keys on the counter, and I pulled out my phone to see if I had any messages. The only one was from Sam’s phone.
“Have fun with Lily, Uncle Luke.”
I laughed and looked at Lily as she grabbed two beers from the fridge. She handed me one, then we both sat down on the couch.
“You haven’t told me anything about you. All I know is that you’re the maintenance man, you love my father, and you’re in a band.”
Eventually, I needed to tell her about Callie and the accident. It wasn’t fair to her that I haven’t spoken about it yet. I looked at her and took in a deep breath.
“I was the quarterback of the high school football team, and Callie was the lead cheerleader. We met senior year, when her dad was transferred here from Ohio. We both felt an instant attraction, and we had dated up until the accident.”
Lily reached over and grabbed my hand. She could see the tears beginning to fill my eyes. It was still too hard to talk about.
“It’s ok, Luke. You don’t have to talk about it anymore; I understand how hard it is.”
I leaned forward and grabbed her, pulling her into a warm embrace. I needed to feel the comfort of her being in my arms. I drank most of my beer and looked at the clock; it was 12:00 a.m. “You need to get some sleep; you have to be up early for work, and I don’t want you to be tired,” I said to her as I got up from the couch.
“I don’t sleep anyway,” she said.
I set the beer bottle on the counter and turned to look at her. “What do you mean you don’t sleep?”
“I can’t sleep more than a couple of hours a night.”
I walked over to her and pushed her hair behind her ear. “Have you talked to someone about this?”
She took my hand and kissed my palm. “No, not yet.”
“How long has this been going on?” I asked her with concern.
“Since the whole church ordeal,” she said as she turned and started walking away.
“That was over a year ago, Lily!” I exclaimed. “How the hell do you function on only a couple hours of sleep?”
“I don’t know. I’m used to it, I guess.”
I walked over to her and kissed the top of her head. As I wrapped my arms around her, she held on tight. “I’m staying here tonight to make sure you sleep,” I said.
She turned around and looked at me. “If you’re staying here, then you’re going to have to make love to me,” she said as she stared into my eyes.
“Lily,” I whispered as I tilted my head and gently kissed her lips.
I couldn’t refuse her. She wanted me to make love to her just as bad as I wanted to. I slowly took down the straps of her dress; then it fell to the ground, revealing her lace bra and thong. Her body was amazing, and I instantly became hard. I took her face in my hands. “I don’t have a condom; I’ll have to go get one.”
