Knot So Perfect Omega (Omega Match #1)(75)
“Oh.” I brought him the rest of the dishes from the table and started taking rinsed dishes from him to load. “I’m handling it.”
“Are you? You won’t set foot in your nest, you aren’t sleeping well even with two of us surrounding you, you-”
“Are you going to send me back?” I blurted, nearly dropping a plate.
“Kayla…” He turned off the water and dried his hands. “Why would you think that?”
I shrugged and shut the dishwasher, avoiding his stare that did things to my insides. “Just a feeling.”
He trapped me against the counter, his arms on either side of me. I looked him straight in the eyes, even though I wanted to look at the floor and whine like a rejected little omega. I could fight against my true nature with every ounce of effort, but at the end of the day, I was still an omega and still could only fight myself so much.
“We’ve been giving you space. You usually tell us what you want and need… is that not right?”
“On a normal day, yes.” I bit my lip and grabbed onto the front hem of his shirt. “But nothing’s been normal, and I guess... I just needed some reassurance.”
“You’re ours,” Beck growled, his fingers grasping my chin to stop me from looking away from him. “Tell me what you want. Anything, and it’s yours.”
“I want you to bite me. All of you.” God, it felt good finally saying it.
His green eyes darkened as his pupils dilated and his body vibrated with pure alpha energy, his chest puffing up a little in a show. This was it. It was going to happen.
“We’ll do it my way.” His voice sent a thrill down my spine and straight to my core.
“Yes, Alpha.” I whimpered, my perfume blossoming around us and causing him to shut his eyes and inhale deeply.
He picked me up, my legs and arms wrapping around him. He carried me so effortlessly, and I fit snug against him as he walked out of the kitchen, and through the dining room and living room. “We have a surprise for you.”
“A surprise?” I didn’t know if I was up for any crazy surprises their four brains might have concocted.
“I think you’ll like it.” He was carrying me down the hall toward the nest, and I frowned. “Trust me.”
I loved my nest, I did, but after everything, seeing it left a bitter taste in my mouth. I was sure eventually I’d use it again, but for now, I had no reason to and was perfectly content finding a quiet room in the massive house to hide under a pile of blankets when I needed.
“What did you do?” I tried to turn my head as he got to the slightly cracked open door.
“Shut your eyes.” He was back in alpha mode, his bark causing my eyes to quickly close in compliance. I could have fought him on it, but there was no need to fight anymore. I was surrendering.
Their scents enveloped me as he walked into the room, the click of the door closing us in. My skin tingled with awareness that they hadn’t gone off to play video games but had come here instead.
“We want this to be a sanctuary for you. A place that gives you comfort, and we know you’ve been avoiding it.”
What didn’t they know? I hadn’t told them my feeling about the nest, but they were observant and me burrowing in the beds upstairs instead of in my nest was probably a dead giveaway.
“Open your eyes, Kayla girl.”
I slowly opened them, gasping not at the three naked alphas lying in wait, but at the room.
Everything was different. The walls had been painted a light blue and the ceiling was now almost black with strands of twinkling lights spread across it. The ceiling fan was replaced with a chandelier that emitted a warm glow of light.
But the best part was the actual nest. They’d replaced the thin nesting mattresses I’d previously bought with a platform low to the ground. The nesting mattresses were thicker and covered in light blue sheets to match the walls. Hanging from the ceiling were panels of thick dark blue fabric which was tied back for now but would enclose the nest from everything.
I wiggled out of Beck’s hold and went to a chair and ottoman that had been set up to replace the loveseat. Folded over the ottoman was the quilt I had been working on for myself. I brought it to my nose and inhaled, all of their scents pouring into me. They’d finished it, and it was more perfect than I could have imagined.
Beck moved behind me, his hands going to my arms and rubbing soothingly. “Do you like it?”
I inhaled shakily and didn’t trust myself to speak, so I nodded. I set the blanket down and turned, throwing my arms around him.
“We can’t undo what happened, but we can move forward together… as a pack. We love you, Kayla, and anything you could ever need or want physically or emotionally is yours. We give ourselves to you.” Beck sounded more certain than I’d ever heard him.
I pulled back, tears threatening to spill over, so seeing him was a bit more difficult. “I love you all too.”
His lips found mine, his arms banding around me like they were never going to let me go. I could sense the others watching us, and that mixed with my emotions made my entire body come alive and my panties dampen with slick.
Beck moved to my neck, sucking on the spot where he was going to claim me with his bite. There were a lot of different ways a pack could claim an omega, but the strongest bond was made when the leader knotted the omega and the entire pack bit her one after the other and vice versa.
