Home For a Cowboy Christmas(75)

And wildly uninhibited.

She opened her eyes and found Zane rising to look at her. She caught sight of his cock, and her stomach fluttered in excitement at having him inside her. He moved over her, the smooth head of him brushing against her flesh.

Cady bit her lip in pleasure when he guided himself into her.

She was hot and wet. Zane had nearly spilled his seed when he finally allowed her to climax. The sound of her, the sight of her had been spectacular. He had pushed her to the very limit, and she had let him.

But in the process, he had pushed himself too far. He wanted her too desperately, but there was no turning back now. He had to be inside her. He had to feel her clutching his rod as she had his finger. He would accept nothing less.

The sight of her biting her lip made him moan. The woman used seduction as easily as breathing, and it set him aflame.

He gradually pushed inside her, letting her body stretch to accommodate him. She sighed, her eyes rolling back in her head. Then he began slowly moving his hips. It wasn’t long before he was thrusting in and out of her faster and faster, deeper and deeper. She opened her eyes to look up at him. He became lost in the sea of blue, in the desire and seduction he found there.

A storm raged outside, but inside the cabin another kind of storm raged, one that Zane never wanted to end.

He pumped his hips faster when he felt his orgasm approaching. The feel of Cady’s tongue on his nipple caused him to let out a shout as he climaxed.

Chapter 6

Was this state of total bliss and utter contentment what it was supposed to feel like after sex? A smile pulled at Cady’s lips as she stared at the ceiling above her. Zane had moved off her to lay next to her. Her entire body hummed as if every neuron had been given a large dose of happiness.

She heard Zane turn his head to her. Cady slowly turned hers to him and met his gold gaze. They shared a smile.

“Damn, woman,” he murmured.

A small laugh escaped her. “I could say the same. I’ve never felt anything like that.”

“Me, either.”

“You don’t have to lie.”

He rolled onto his side, propping his head up with his hand. “I’m not. I don’t say things I don’t mean. And I’m telling you right now, that was…” He paused as if searching for a word.

“Epic?” she offered.

His lips curved into a sexy smile. “Epic.”

She sighed serenely. “It certainly was. We can do that again, right?”

“I was hoping you’d say that.”

Cady lifted her hand and smoothed a lock of his wavy hair out of his face. “I’ve never done anything like this before.”

“Why now?”

“I have no idea.” She dropped her hand and rolled onto her side to face him. “Maybe it’s this place. It could be because it’s Christmas. I don’t know. And, honestly, I don’t care.”

“Just as long as you don’t regret anything.”

She gave him a flat look. “With as great as I feel, there is no way I could have any regrets or anything close to it.”

“That’s good. Come here. I can see chills rising on your skin.”

Cady eagerly scooted next to Zane as he lay on his back and moved the covers so they could put their legs beneath it. His body heat warmed her instantly. But what she really enjoyed was lying on his chest. She had always loved cuddling, but none of her boyfriends had liked it. So, not only did she have mind-blowing sex, but she was also cuddling.

“I’ve never had such a great Christmas Eve before,” she said as she stared at the fire.

“I concur.”

“You are rather comfortable.”

His arm tightened around her. “And you fit quite nicely.”

“Not bad for two strangers forced together.”

His chest rumbled with laughter. “Not bad at all.”

“One thing can spoil all of this.”

“What’s that?”

“I didn’t get a chance to call my family. They have no idea I didn’t get on the plane. They’ll be worried sick.”

Zane’s fingers caressed up and down her back. “Were you spending Christmas with them?”

“I made up an excuse about work. I didn’t want everything to be about me and the breakup.”

“Spending the holiday alone sounded better?”

She snorted. “You’d understand if you knew my family. They’re great, but they’re very up in my business. Every ten seconds, one of them would ask how I was doing. If I needed a cry or some such thing.”

“They care about you.”

“I know. I just…”

“Needed time,” he offered.

She nodded slowly, her eyes closing as his fingers moved into her hair. She absolutely adored when someone played with her hair.

“How big is your family?” he asked.

“My parents, of course. They got divorced when I was ten. It was amicable if you can believe it. So much so, we still have holidays together. My dad eventually remarried, and my mom has been with the same man for fifteen years but refuses to get married again. All four of them get along great.”

There was shock in Zane’s voice as he asked, “You’re kidding.”
