Four Week Fiance (Four Week Fiance #1)(68)
Chapter Nineteen
TJ
My cock still felt hard as I watched Mila sleeping, though I knew our relationship was too fresh for me to f*ck her while she was sleeping. That might scare her to wake up to me inside of her, though that was exactly where my cock wanted to be. I held her in my arms and I felt satisfied and worried. Satisfied because she’d given herself to me and she’d seemed to enjoy it, but worried for what would happen when she found out exactly what all those clauses in the contract meant that she’d been so worried about. Frankly, I was surprised that she’d agreed to my terms without more of a discussion. She was too trusting, which I both liked and disliked. I was glad she trusted me, but it made me angry at her. She had no clue what she’d signed up for.
I slid out of the bed and watched her sleeping. I had two phone calls to make. I made the first call and received a voicemail. I hurried into the hall so that Mila wouldn’t be woken up, speaking quietly into the phone. “It’s done. Mila has agreed to be my fiancée.” I hung up quickly and called the next number. I received another voicemail and left the same message. “It’s done. Mila has agreed to be my fiancée.” I closed my phone and walked to the kitchen. I wasn’t feeling proud of myself, but I knew that I had to do what I had to do. I decided to put the food away when my phone rang—it was my dad returning my call.
“TJ,” he said, his voice surprisingly alert for such a late call.
“Dad.”
“Good job. I’m going to send some papers over to you tomorrow. I need you to go over them.”
“What papers?”
“You know what papers.”
“How did you get them?” I frowned into the phone.
“How do you think?” My dad sounded annoyed.
“Dad, I think you’re—”
“I’m not paying you to think. I’m paying you to get the job done. The papers will be in your office tomorrow morning. Don’t f*ck this up.”
“I won’t,” I said dully as my heart slowed.
“Good.” My dad sounded pleasant again. “I always knew that Mila had a thing for you. Just keep her satisfied for the next four weeks and the plan will be fine.”
“Uh huh,” I said, hanging up the phone and flinging it onto the couch as I walked into the living room.
“TJ?” Mila walked into the living room, wrapped in a sheet, her long hair a tousled mess around her shoulders.
“What are you doing up?” I frowned at her, wondering what she’d heard.
“I woke up and you weren’t there and I heard your voice.” She squinted at me as her eyes adjusted to the light. “Who were you on the phone with?”
“No one.” I shook my head. “Come, I have something for you.”
“Oh, what?” She looked excited and I laughed as I led her back to the bedroom.
“Sit on the bed,” I said and walked over to my bag. I pulled out the jewelry box and another small bag. “This is your engagement ring.” I pulled out the large diamond ring and placed it on her finger. “I hope you like it.”
“I love it.” Her eyes were wide as she stared at her finger. “Thank you.”
“Now you can open the other bag,” I said to her with a smile, my eyes never leaving her face as I watched her pull out the handcuffs.
“What’s this for?” she asked, all shocked as she gazed at me.
“This is just a reminder that while these four weeks are going to be a lot of fun, they are going to be crazy as well.” I took the handcuffs from her hands and walked over to a drawer and dropped them in before turning back to her. “The more you get to know me, Mila, the more you will see that the boy you thought you knew is not the man I am now. I like to have fun. I like to get down and dirty. I’m going to take you on a ride that you will never forget.”
“And you need the handcuffs to do that?” she asked nervously and I could see her fingers trembling as she held the sheet to her body.
“I don’t need the handcuffs to do that.” I shook my head and walked back towards her. “In fact, I’m not the one who will need the handcuffs at all.” I stopped in front of her and pulled the sheet off of her beautiful body.
“You’re not?” she asked, confused, as she looked at me with parted lips.
“You’re the one who will need the cuffs, Mila.” I pushed her down on the bed and rolled her onto her knees. “You’re the one who will need the cuffs,” I said again as I entered her swiftly from behind, all guilt gone from my mind as I once again showed both of us just how much pleasure our bodies could give each other.
Chapter Twenty
Mila
February 14th, 2009
Dear Diary,
When I marry TJ Walker, I’m going to have a big wedding and invite all those girls in school that made fun of me for having a crush on my brother’s friend. “He’ll never be with you,” they said. “He’ll never want you,” they said. I’ll show them. One day, he’ll be mine and they’ll be eating all of their words.
Mila
XOXO
“Sally, I’m telling you that TJ has been the perfect gentleman since I said yes,” I whispered into the phone during my lunch break.
