Draw (Gentry Boys #1)(61)

Then I saw a box sitting on the table. It was stupid. It had cartoonish pictures of multicolored marshmallows with absurd faces. But the sight of Chase’s box of cereal sitting there all forlorn cracked me the f*ck open. I threw my glass against the wall and drove a furious fist into the center of the kitchen table. Saylor gasped as the cheap piece of shit furniture broke right down the center.

“Cord!”

I kicked at the pieces savagely, my hand throbbing from the force of punching the table.

“No!” She had launched herself into my arms. “Stop it!” The force of her body was enough to propel me backwards slightly and I wound up with my back against the fridge. Then, before I could fend her off, Saylor did something unbelievable. She got to her knees and wildly tore at the snap of my jeans as her hands yanked the fabric down. My dick was hard as steel before she even got her mouth all the way around it. I wound my hands all through her hair as she licked my balls, cupping each one in her mouth. I used her hair to cover my dick and wanted to come in the middle of that thick brown curtain but I knew that wouldn’t be enough so I lifted her.

Saylor’s jaw was set, her face obstinate. She knew I was battling and she was determined to pull me back to her side.

“I love you,” she said stubbornly.

“Then love me,” I answered, pushing her arms over her head and lifting her shirt. I went wild at the sight of her creamy body. I needed to use every f*cking inch of it.

“Yes,” she whispered as my mouth went to her breasts, my hands pushing inside her shorts. She strained against me, already wet. I got rid of it all; her shorts, her panties, the lacy black bra I’d ripped off her before. She kicked everything off into a corner and pulled my shirt over my head. Saylor pressed her palm against the words on my chest and pushed me back a little.

“This what you want?” I asked, lifting her onto the tiled counter as I spread her legs wide apart. “You want me to conquer you, baby?”

“Yes, it’s what I want,” she answered firmly and then sucked on my neck. She went at it hard, in a way that I knew would leave a mark, as if we were teens who needed to advertise our sexuality. It drove me berserk. I grabbed her ass, pulling her towards me, and her legs went tightly around my waist. When I carried her to the living room I was inside her, just barely, as she sucked the skin raw on my neck.

I fell back to the couch, Saylor straddling me. The fall of her weight pushed me in so deep I didn’t think I’d ever find a way out, which was just fine. She let out a cry and her forehead bumped my shoulder.

“Ride me, Say. Ride me damn hard.”

“Cord,” she moaned as her body began to glisten with sweat. I licked the salty skin between her breasts as she pushed herself to a frenetic rhythm. A few times I was on the verge of shattering but I shoved it away. I shoved everything away; the fear and the rage of the past day, the certainty that more terrible things lay ahead. All the blackness which lapped at the edges of my heart and threatened to knock me down was dissolved when that girl screamed my name as her body shuddered on top of me.

“That’s right,” I clutched her, grabbing handfuls of her sweaty hair. “Who’s f*cking you, baby?”

“Oh god, you are!”

“No, honey. My name, Saylor. The whole f*cking thing.”

“CORDERO GENTRY!” she yelled and tightened around me so hard I couldn’t do a thing but yield, coming inside of her with furious gasps as she trembled and uttered a near painful cry.

Say collapsed a little, her head sinking to my chest. I gathered her in my arms and nipped at her neck in the gentlest way. She raised her head, pushing her hair back, her green eyes regarding me sorrowfully.

“Is it enough, Cord?”

I pretended not to know what she meant. “What, Say?”

“Me,” she whispered. “Us. Is it enough for you?”

I kissed her lips briefly. “I don’t want a damn thing to do with other girls since you came along.”

She smiled vaguely. “That’s nice. But it’s not what I was asking.”

I picked her up and headed for the bedroom. “Come on, let’s get some rest for now.”

The room was cool and dark. Saylor sighed but settled into my bed, rolling towards me. I held her and marveled at how we fit together, like lock and key. In that moment there was only the two of us and that’s how I wanted it. She ran her fingers up and down my arm until I felt a small chill. I captured her mouth with mine and kissed her hungrily before pulling back.

“You need to shave,” she observed.

I touched the thickening stubble on my chin. “You’re right,” I shrugged. “You love me anyway?” It was a flippant question but she took it seriously.

“So much, Cord.”

“Good, then we’re even.”

“Are we?” she smiled. “Are you settling for a draw again?”

“Hush,” I said, pulling her to my chest and yawning. “I need a few hours of shut eye here or else I’m gonna start hallucinating.”

Saylor fell into an easy sleep. I watched her for a while as her long eyelashes fluttered on her cheeks. She looked so angelic it made my gut hurt. I planted a kiss on her forehead.

“I do, Say,” I whispered. “So much too.”

I figured she wouldn’t hear me, but either she wasn’t quite asleep or my voice seeped into her subconscious. A small smile broke out on her face and she tightened her hold on me.
