Sitting up, he reluctantly left her body. Diamond moaned at him, and he wanted to go back and give her what she wanted. She sat up and looked at him as he stroked his thick, hard cock.

Diamond was sitting in the kitchen having a cup of tea when Sapphire walked in. She didn’t speak to her until she had her own cup and a piece of toast. The two of them had always been very close, but she had a feeling that she was mad at her for some reason.

“You were willing to leave us all behind instead of doing the right thing.” Diamond nodded but didn’t look at her. “Do you have any idea how worried you made all of us because you were too selfish to let us help you?”

“I know what I was doing and the fact that you let me do it was more appreciated than I can ever tell you.” Sapphire snorted, and Diamond looked up at her. “I think I killed him.”

Sapphire stared at her for several seconds before she threw back her head and laughed. It sounded so good that Diamond joined her. When Sapphire reached for her hand, Diamond curled her into hers and held it tightly.

“Don’t do that again, please. I don’t know what I would do without you.” Diamond nodded and felt Thad stir in her bed and looked up at the ceiling. “You and him have mated and bonded then, I take it?”

“We have. I’m not sure whether or not we’ll make it, but for now we’re going okay.” Diamond didn’t mention the things he said in his sleep, because she wasn’t sure what they had meant. “He was really sick when he came here. I think he was willing to die in order to make me shift.”

“Blair said the same thing after he helped you get him into bed. He also said you were going to take away that stupid promise you made him give you. I really wish you would. It would have been so much easier if you hadn’t made him hold back.” Diamond didn’t say anything. She wasn’t going to give him back the promise. If this thing with Thad didn’t work out, she wanted an option. And the less her sister knew the better about that.

“He’s up.” They both heard the water through the pipes, and Diamond went to the refrigerator. Her grandmother wasn’t home, having gone to the grocery store, so she decided to make him something to eat. She started to pull out the bacon and other breakfast items, knowing that Thad was going to be starved when he came down. She flushed when she thought of him in her bed and the things he’d done to her. Also, she wanted to look up some things on the computer about this Dom/sub thing he’d told her about. Sapphire pulled out the flour to make what Diamond hoped was biscuits. By the time Blair came into the kitchen they were well on their way to having everything ready. Thad walked in a few minutes later.
