Bad Apple - the Baddest Chick(20)
“Who’s actin’ up now?” he asked, knowing the routine with her.
“Apple and Kola.”
“Those two are like cats and dogs sometimes.”
“Tell me about it,” Nichols replied.
She went into his bedroom, and the two began playing the game Halo on his Xbox 360. They both were huge fans of the game, and it was Nichols’ way of escaping the bullshit she had to endure in her dysfunctional home.

It was late afternoon when Apple exited her apartment. She moved down the pissy-smelling stairway in a rush and out into the lobby. However, before she could leave out her building, Supreme and one of his henchmen quickly confronted her. The two startled Apple, who was shocked to see them as they approached her from behind.
“Hey, Apple, where’s my f*ckin’ money?” Supreme asked, a threatening chill in his voice.
“You told me three weeks. It’s only been two so far.”
“It’s been two? Nah, not on my f*ckin’ calendar. Call it a leap week or somethin’, but I need my f*ckin’ payment.”
“What? Get the f-uck outta here, Supreme! You told me three weeks. Don’t think I’m some dumb bitch.”
Supreme marched up to her and grabbed her by the arm. “Bitch, don’t f*ckin’ play me! You f*ckin’ hear me? You borrowed five hundred from me, and with the interest added to that, you now owe me an extra one hundred and fifty dollars. So I want my f*ckin’ six hundred and fifty soon. You understand? You either pay me in cash or pu-ssy, but either way, I’ma get mine back.”
Apple returned his hard gaze and responded, “So that’s your f*ckin’ tactic? Put a bitch in debt so you can get some ass? You f*ckin’ pathetic nigga!”
Supreme smiled. “Nah, not as pathetic as you’re gonna be if I don’t get either in return. I’m warning you, Apple. Don’t f*ckin’ try me. I ain’t a nigga to f-uck wit’.”
Supreme released his tight grip on Apple and took a step back. His henchman was behind him, ready for anything. It wasn’t Guy Tony, but an older-looking man that Apple had never seen before.
“Tomorrow, Apple, you come up wit’ my bread or else. By the way, you lookin’ good in that dress.” Supreme grinned as he and his goon started to exit the building.
Apple overheard him say, “That bitch ain’t comin’ up wit’ my money no time soon. After I’m done wit’ her, I might let you f-uck her.”
Supreme laughed while walking out the building, leaving Apple furious. She’d be damned if she let Supreme touch her in any type of way. She felt duped. Supreme was trying to strong-arm her, and she wanted to spit in his face.
Apple collected herself and exited the lobby, knowing if Supreme even tried to penetrate her with his dirty dick, she would go “Lorena Bobbitt” on his ass.
CHAPTER 8
A few days had passed since Apple’s run-in with Supreme. She’d been keeping a low profile, knowing he had some issues and wanted to exploit her in so many ways. With Supreme, it wasn’t about the debt, but the control he wanted to have over her. She knew he had his way with many women because of the money they owed him. For them, it was easier to f-uck him a few times than to pay up their outstanding debt.
Apple felt trapped. She was embarrassed about borrowing money from a local loan shark to buy an outfit for Summer Jam and having to pay him back with pu-ssy. She didn’t want the hood to know about her dealings with Supreme, and she especially didn’t want word to reach Kola.
Apple devised a scheme that was sure to keep Supreme and his goons off her ass. Every day, she would look out her window and keep an eye out for him. When she thought he wasn’t around, she would break out, making sure she didn’t have any interference on her way to wherever.
One evening, she ran into Guy Tony at the corner bodega. When he pressured her about the money she owed, she lied, knowing he wasn’t the brightest star in the galaxy. She said she had the money at home and promised, if he hung around, she would run to her place and get it. He believed her, and she ran off, leaving him waiting for her return.
Apple knew her constant lying and ducking Supreme wouldn’t work forever. So she picked the lock to Kola’s room while she wasn’t home and went rummaging through her closet looking for clothes that she hardly wore anymore. She removed a few short skirts, some really short coochie-cutting shorts, and a few tops. Apple and Kola were exactly the same size, so she knew it would work. When she was satisfied with the stuff she snatched from Kola’s closet, she put everything else back the way she found it and returned to her bedroom.
Apple felt Kola had so many clothes that she wouldn’t realize a few pieces were missing. She laid out Kola’s clothing on the bed and tried to figure out how she would work everything out.
Just then Nichols walked into the bedroom. “What you doin’ wit’ Kola’s clothes all laying out on the bed?” she asked.
“Nothin’, Nichols. It ain’t your business.”
“Kola’s goin’ to kill you when she sees her stuff out like that.”
“She ain’t gonna kill nobody, ’cause she ain’t gonna know they missing. A’ight, Nichols?”
Nichols sucked her teeth. She knew it was best to stay out her sister’s business, not wanting to get caught up in any sibling rivalry. “It’s your funeral,” she responded before exiting the bedroom.
