Ryley's Revenge (Gloves Off #2)(30)

“I can’t believe this,” Danny grumbled. “That boy is f*cking up. Your dad would have a heart attack if he was still alive.”

The thought of my dad made me falter and Matt advantageously punched me right in the jaw, knocking me back. Fuck, that hurt.

“You lack focus, Jameson,” Matt chastised. “I know you’re having issues with Camden, but you need to put all of that out of your mind. You can fight with anger, but if you don’t have the focus, you’ll make a wrong move. Take lessons from my fight with Kyle. He almost had me down because I was angry with him. Once I was able to clear my head, I f*cked his shit up.” Danny jumped into the ring and he nodded at him, then fist bumped me.

“I’ll work on it, Reynolds. Thanks for the help.”

“No problem. I just wish Gabby would get here. I swear that girl never shows up on time for anything.”

“I resent that.” Gabriella stormed in, her lips pursed.

Matt chuckled and met her on the floor, while Danny slid on his gloves. Now that Camden wouldn’t be my sparring partner anymore, I had to go against him. Gabriella talked heatedly to Matt and glanced up at me, a solemn expression taking over her face. Something was wrong. When Matt nodded at her, she climbed into the ring.

“Danny, do you mind if I talk to Ryley? It’s kind of important.”

Furrowing his brows, he looked at her and then at me. “Yeah, fine. He deserves a break after working so hard this morning.”

Gabriella watched him until he was out of earshot.

“What’s going on, Gabby? I don’t like the look on your face.”

She crossed her arms over her chest and nodded. “Yeah, well, that might be because you’re not going to like what I’m about to tell you.”

“Fucking shit,” I grumbled. “Just tell me and get it over with.”

“Okay, but I’m not going to sugarcoat it,” she began. Taking a step closer, she looked around the room before leaning in. “Your brother sent Ash a video and it wasn’t good. She’s taken off, and I don’t know where she went.”

“What do you mean she took off? And what kind of video are you talking about?”

“I’m talking about live footage of Deep Throat Natalie sucking your cock in the locker room. Also included, numerous videos of you dry humping a shit ton of women. Ashleigh told me you said you didn’t mess around with anyone while you two were broken up. Why would you lie about that? Now she knows you lied to her.”

“Goddammit,” I hissed, ripping off my gloves. “I didn’t lie to her, Gabby. Yeah, I messed around with more than a few, but I never slept with any of them. That wasn’t a lie. But what was I supposed to do? Give her details on how I let other women suck my dick?”

Gabriella sighed, uncrossing her arms. “No, I don’t think she would’ve wanted to know the details. It just hurt her to see you with other women. Be glad I turned off the TV before she could watch the rest.”

Danny watched me shove my gloves into my gym bag and nodded. He knew I wasn’t going to stay. “The rest? What more could there have been?”

“Oh, believe me, there was a lot more, but I’m assuming it wasn’t you, since you just confirmed you didn’t screw anyone else . . . it must’ve been Camden. He was in your room, f*cking three women, Ryley. The room was dark, but I could still see three women and you, I mean Camden. Whatever, the girls were even moaning your name.”

“You have got to be f*cking kidding me,” I exclaimed. Grabbing my bag, I slung it over my shoulders and jumped out of the ring. I bolted out of the front door and Gabby stopped me with a hand on my arm. Breathing hard, I didn’t turn around, but I listened.

“What are you going to do? Ashleigh left, and I have no clue what she’s thinking. She wouldn’t talk to me.”

That was what I worried about the most. If I watched a video of another man touching her, I’d be out of my mind with rage. I needed to find her, but first . . .

Gabriella let my arm go and I finally turned around to face her. “Right now, I’m going to go to my house and make sure every trace of my brother is gone. And then, I’m going to go look for Ashleigh. However long it takes, I’m going to find her.”

She nodded, her attitude melancholy. “Good luck, Ryley. I don’t know what it is about you two, but you have a lot to work through. I guess love is never easy.”

Not in my life it’s not. Turning on my heel, I ran to my car and sped out of the parking lot. Camden better pray he was not at my house. If he is, I don’t care about the consequences . . . I’m going to break his f*cking face.

By the time I got to my house, there were no cars in the driveway and the house looked vacant. Even when I opened the garage, Camden’s cars and motorcycle were all gone. Did he actually leave? I figured he would make a big scene. When I got inside, I marched straight up to his room and slammed open his door . . . everything was gone. There was no trace of him at all. The rest of the furniture in the house was all mine and it was all still in place. However, when I got to my room, it wasn’t how I left it.

My bed was unmade, the sheets in disarray, with a note left on top of my deep blue comforter. It was folded over once with my name written on the outside in Camden’s handwriting.
