He scoops me into his arms and kisses me fiercely.

I poke him in the side.

“Just as long as you remember it.”

We spend the rest of the afternoon hidden away in our alcove making love and exploring each other’s bodies like we have done every night since the wedding. I will never get tired of it and I look forward to spending every night wrapped in his arms. He is forever mine and I am forever his.
