Princess Next Door(16)

“I’m not going to jump you. This isn’t a rush for me to rid you of that pesky little V-card you’re so desperate to let go of.”

“I’m not desperate. I just want to know what all the fuss is about. I’ve never really been all that interested in sex and guys.”

“Cheers,” he said. “I’ll take a cup of coffee.”

She nodded and began to fill her kettle.

“You know I’ve got a pool, and I was wondering if you’d like to go for a swim. It’s been a long day, and you really need to relax before you totally hurt yourself.”

“I’d like that. It has been ages since I went for a swim.”

“I’ll even show you a little access into my garden that the woman showed me,” he said.

“Access?”

“Yes. Did you know these two houses have a rumor attached to them?” he asked.

“Not you as well?”

“What?”

“Do you really think that two homes can bring two people together, and the two that are living there at the same time will magically fall in love?”

“With how sarcastically you’re saying that I’m going to take a hunch and say you don’t believe in it?”

“It’s a bunch of bull. It has to be.”

“Okay, what if I can say that I know for certain the last three couples here are all married and happy settled?”

“Well, I know Slade and Cassie are. They’re in town.”

“Yes, but the couples before that as well. They moved away, but they’re still together.”

She finished making them both a cup of coffee. “Say I believe you, what does that even mean?”

“It means that one day soon you’re going to find yourself completely and totally in love with me.”

“Well if that’s true, then it means you’re going to be the same with me. You’re going to think of nothing and no one but me.” She placed a hand on her chest and smiled. “Would that be pure torture to you?”

“Not at all. I quite like thinking about you.” He took a sip of his coffee, staring over the rim of the cup, which made her stomach twist, and she had no choice but to press her thighs together. Damn, this man was good.

“In all seriousness, I won’t hold you to anything about what I’ve asked you to do. You’re your own man, and I don’t expect anything from you.”

“Just my dick.”

Her cheeks heated. “It’s … why is this so hard?”

“You’re the one that asked me, and soon it will get hard. I promise. Right now, it’s kind of soft. You make really nice coffee.”

She knew he was teasing her, and the moment he talked about his cock, she couldn’t help but look.

“You’ll get to see it soon enough, Princess.”

Something must be happening because she didn’t even mind it when he called her Princess.

“How was your truck?” she asked, moving onto a much safer topic than sex, Zane’s penis, and the possible rumor their houses played Cupid.

“It doesn’t stink; it’s really clean. You need to vomit in my truck more often. I think it’s cleaner than when I first bought it.”

Her mouth and beer had already gotten her into this. There was no way she’d ever risk it again.

Zane waited for her to change into her bathing suit. Cassie, the previous owner, had a pool, which he’d just recently paid to get clean. Princess, now dressed in a bathing suit, followed him out to the back of her garden. When Cassie had been at a hospital appointment because of her baby, Slade had showed him around and also told him about the loose fence panel.

“Why didn’t anyone fix it?” she asked as he showed her how to slide it open, and keeping it there as they entered his home.

“I don’t know. Maybe they didn’t feel it needed fixing? Our houses being connected and all that.”

Cassie had told him about the house rumor when he moved in, and of course he didn’t believe her.

It was total bullshit.

Houses didn’t control emotions, people did.

He pulled off his shirt, then removed his jeans, walking all the while. “And here is the little darling that I had cleaned especially for you.” He held his hand out. “You may remove your robe.”

She rolled her eyes, opening up the robe and handing it to him.

Placing their clothes on the deck chair, he jumped in without waiting for her. The day was so hot that even the water was warm.

Breaking the surface, he saw her standing there. She wasn’t trying to hide her body, and the bathing suit she wore shaped to her curvy figure to perfection, and even seemed to push her tits up and together. He focused on other parts of her body rather than the pure beauty of her breasts.

She had a touch of cellulite on her thighs, but they were full, juicy, and he wanted them wrapped around his waist as he slammed his dick deep inside her.

She’s a virgin.

Rubbing his hands down his face, he watched as she slowly climbed into the pool, her hands gliding over the surface.

“It’s not going to bite. I don’t have a shark hidden beneath waiting to eat you up or anything.”

She smiled. “It has been a long time since I’ve been in a pool.”
