Jonathan and Gabby’s story was a joy to write. It was my first time writing a novella, in single point of view, and a holiday romance, and going for it felt sort of like that first time down a “real” hill when you learn to ski—a daunting, exhilarating, accelerating adventure that starts off a little nervously and ends in a Wow-I’ve-got-to-do-that-again thrill.
