The Intern (The Dalton Family #4)(98)
When she kissed me, I tasted the hunger on her lips.
The need that pulsed through her body.
She pulled away and leaned into my ear, whispering words that made my dick so fucking hard.
That made me grip her face with a strength that was even more intense than before.
“That’s how you want to celebrate?” I asked.
She loosened the knot at my throat, pulling my tie until she could slip it over my head. “Yes.” Her lips went to my ear, where she moaned, “I want you. Right now.”
“Then, you’d better lock the door.”
She dropped the tie on my desk and got up from my lap, walking to the door to do as I’d said. When she turned to face me, she slipped off her skirt and tossed her shirt on the floor.
That body.
That perfection.
Every fucking bit of it was mine.
As she returned to my lap, I gave her one final order, “Keep your heels on.”

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
Nina Grinstead, the past few months have shown me just how hard you fight for me. It’s something I’ve seen and known since day one, but what we’ve accomplished, the goals we’ve achieved, the dreams we’ve made happen in the latter half of this year are nothing short of amazing. So many happy tears (with palm trees behind my head), all because of you, Nina. Love you doesn’t even come close to cutting it. Team B forever.
Jovana Shirley, I hope you know how grateful I am for you, how much you inspire me, how every book I send your way is better—how I’m better—because of you. You’re an artist, and I’m completely in awe of you. As I always say, I’m never doing this without you. Never, ever. Love you so, so hard.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
USA Today best-selling author Marni Mann knew she was going to be a writer since middle school. While other girls her age were daydreaming about teenage pop stars, Marni was fantasizing about penning her first novel. She crafts sexy, titillating stories that weave together her love of darkness, mystery, passion, and human emotions. A New Englander at heart, she now lives in Sarasota, Florida, with her husband and their yellow Lab. When she’s not nose deep in her laptop, working on her next novel, she’s scouring for chocolate, sipping wine, traveling, or devouring fabulous books.
