The Portocale Council—

No one really wants to talk about that. Which only makes me more and more cautiously curious.



The cult of the Forsaken— This is bigger than Mom made it out to sound. I haven’t been taking them seriously enough, even though I knew better. As it turns out, this is a faction of shapeshifters ruled by Idun. Some say Idun didn’t condone the Portocale deaths. Some think she’s the one who ordered all the Portocale deaths, because she’s vicious and ruthless that way. It depends on who you ask.



Mom—

I’m going to have to keep the pin in this one. I’m not ready to try piecing this together yet, because it doesn’t look pretty. I want to have faith that I’m still missing key pieces that will shift everything around and change what I’m seeing into something better.



Martin—

A gypsy that may or may not be important, whose house I staked four vampires in.

I love this series. The dynamics have been fun from the start.

The fifth book is being a little reworked, and I think the series will finish up in the sixth book, as long as it writes itself the way I think it’s going to. For everyone who has been waiting on the bigger, more intense romance…book 5 will be the book for you.
