Claiming Sarah (Ace Security #5)(48)
“As long as you can find me an unused toothbrush and have shampoo, I’m good,” she told him.
“I’ve got you covered there.”
“Okay.”
Cole closed his eyes for a second before staring deeply into hers once again. “I won’t let you down,” he vowed.
Sarah nodded. She didn’t know if he was talking about tonight, tomorrow, or some unknown time in the future, but it didn’t really matter. She believed him.
Then his head dropped, and she met him halfway. She’d only kissed him once before, and when her lips met his, it was as if they were the only two people in the world. The kiss was short but passionate, and when he finally pulled back, they were both breathing hard. Cole squeezed her neck affectionately, then reluctantly let go.
“I was gonna find a nice restaurant to take you to, but I think I’d rather take you home. To my home.”
“Are you gonna feed me?”
“Yes.”
“Then take me home, Cole.”
She understood the satisfied smile that formed on his face because she felt the same way inside. She was beginning to think that anywhere Cole was would be home for her. It was a scary thought, as it was so soon in their relationship, but everything within her trusted him. If her dads were still alive, she knew they’d trust him too.
After he pulled out of the parking lot, he reached over and grabbed her hand. He twined his fingers with hers, and they stayed that way for the rest of the ride.
Chapter Eleven
It was ten o’clock and dark outside. Cole was sitting on the couch with Sarah in his arms, and they were simply talking. They hadn’t turned on the television all night, instead using their time to get to know each other, just as he’d wanted. As it turned out, they already knew quite a bit. Their frequent phone calls and text conversations had laid an excellent foundation.
But the longer Cole sat there, Sarah soft and pliant in his arms, the harder it was to hide the effect she had on him. And the last thing he wanted was to make her uncomfortable. She’d agreed to spend the night, which was huge.
Not wanting his rock-hard erection to accidentally brush against her, Cole shifted.
“I’m sorry, am I squishing you?” Sarah asked.
Cole chuckled. “As if. No, you’re fine.”
She looked back at him, then said, “For our third date, this one was pretty amazing.”
He couldn’t read her mood. “I warned you that I’m not the best cook. Main dishes are hard, but I can grill a mean steak, and breakfasts are my jam.”
She grinned and her lids fell. Cole noticed how long her eyelashes were for the first time. He was more a tits-and-ass man, but sitting there, his face inches from hers, he decided that he was an idiot for not noticing how beautiful a woman’s lashes were.
When she looked back up at him, he wasn’t prepared for the lust he saw in her gaze.
Then she moved before he could anticipate her actions.
She straddled his lap and scooted forward, pressing her pussy against his cock as if she’d done it every day of their lives.
Shocked, Cole could just stare up at her and pray she didn’t freak out when she felt how aroused he was.
Instead, she shimmied against him for a moment, then wrapped her arms around his neck.
“Here’s the thing,” she started. “Jackson had the sex talk with me when I was twelve. He told me that men were pigs and they’d take advantage of me if I let them. Later that night, Mike came to my room and had a very different sex talk. He told me I should make any boy I liked wait for it. Said if the boy was good, if he wanted me for me, he’d wait.”
Cole barely dared to breathe. Hearing Sarah talk about sex at all was hotter than he would’ve ever dreamed.
“It turns out they were both right. Of course, Jackson was just trying to make me not like boys, since I was his little girl, and Mike was always the more romantic of the pair. There have been guys who’ve taken advantage of my niceness. I’d forgotten what my dads had told me. That’s where my three-date rule came in for kissing. I figured if someone liked me, really liked me, they’d wait until I was ready before moving forward. And if I imposed a three-date kissing rule, it would separate the men from the boys.”
Cole winced. Shit. He hadn’t been able to wait. He’d fallen on her like a horny teenager the second he’d seen her that morning. His hands fell to the cushion at his sides, afraid to touch her in case she was pissed at him.
She leaned forward, and Cole held back the moan that threatened to escape when her tits brushed against his chest. They were both fully dressed, but that didn’t stop his imagination from kicking into overdrive. He imagined how her nipples would feel as they dragged across his chest. It would tickle, and the plump mounds would feel both soft and hard as she gave him her weight.
“If I told you that things were moving too fast and I needed to slow down, what would you do?” she asked.
Cole looked into her eyes and refused to even think about how he could feel the heat from between her legs on his cock. How he wanted to fuck her exactly like this . . . with her in his lap, naked, tits bouncing as she rode him. “I’d wait until you were ready.”
“Even if it was months?” she pressed.
“You’re worth the wait,” he choked out.
