Man of the House: A Dark Bad Boy Romance(193)
I felt the same way, of course, although in a different way.
I slowly got out of bed and pulled some clothes on. I found Clutch sitting down on the couch, rocking Ryan in his arms while he watched football on TV.
“Is he okay?” I asked.
Clutch nodded. “Just wanted attention I guess.”
I sat down next to them, smiling. Ryan looked sleepy still as Clutch gently rocked him.
“What do you think about another?” Clutch asked me.
I laughed. “Seriously? Already?”
He grinned at me. “Hell yes. I want a big family. And I love putting these things in your belly.”
“Okay,” I said, kissing him. “Okay. Whatever you want.”
“Good. We’ll try tonight then.”
I laughed and took Ryan from him. I gently rocked Ryan in my arms as Clutch kissed me gently.
This was all that I needed. Clutch, my husband, my man. We had our little house in the woods not far away from our closest friends. We had our baby and we were going to have more, as many more as Clutch wanted.
I wanted a big family too. I wanted more of Clutch, and having his babies was one way of doing that. And besides, I loved when he put a baby inside me, too.
Nothing felt better, more right, than sitting on the couch with my baby and my husband. All of the death and the terror was behind us. We had each other, and that was more than enough.
Clutch, my husband, my bodyguard.
He protected me, loved me, made me feel alive and good and right every day, for as long as I wanted, forever.
