Just One Taste (Topped #2)(62)

Deena couldn’t stand another moment. She moved, trying to keep him inside, desperate to keep that feeling going. It was more than anything she’d felt before. Hotter, stronger. She could feel his hands on her, his legs against hers. As he dragged his cock out, nerve endings lit up and sparked through her body.

“That’s what I want.” He pushed back in. “Fight me for it. Come for me.”

He set a pounding rhythm, matching the vibe. Between the two, she couldn’t hold out. She pressed back and rode the wave. The vibrator slid over her G-spot while Eric moved behind her.

She felt him shudder as her whole body seemed to shake with the force of her pleasure.

He called out her name and a sense of peace swept over her.

This was what she’d waited for, what she’d been missing.

EPILOGUE

Deena hugged her mom as she stepped out of the auditorium where graduation had been held. She’d worried a little that she would be one of the oldest graduates there, but she’d found herself surrounded by people of all ages. It seemed the seeking of a better life wasn’t only for the twenty-year-olds of the world.

Sometimes a woman simply had to be ready to find a new way.

“I’m so proud of you.” Her mother held her tight.

“I’m proud of you, too.” She’d been very surprised to discover that the reason her mom hadn’t wanted to stay with her was because she’d brought a date. Deena looked over and saw Eric talking to her mother’s new boyfriend. Tiffany, Macon, and Ally were standing there as well, forming a circle as they waited for her. Graham Sinclair was an attractive man in his early sixties. He was a professor who taught philosophy at a local college. They’d met online when her mother had found the courage to move on with her life.

“He’s a good man,” her mother said, looking over at the group.

“He seems that way. I like him a lot.” She’d only met him yesterday morning at breakfast, but he’d been a gentleman with her mother. He’d pulled out the chair for her, made certain she had everything she needed. It was good to see someone putting her mother first.

Her mother smiled. “I was talking about your Eric. He came to my hotel last night and we talked for a while. He wanted me to understand that he’s serious about you. Though I suspect if I hadn’t given him my blessing? he would have simply tried again.”

So that’s where he’d gone on his night off. She’d been out with her friends. Eric had shown up to make sure they all got home all right, but he’d let them have fun on their own.

He was a very indulgent Master.

“He’s persistent,” Deena allowed. “And I’m pretty sure I’m going to marry that man. I’m so happy you found Graham, Mom. I kind of thought you would be alone for the rest of your life.”

Her mother sighed as they started to walk toward their men. “I thought so, too, and then I really thought about what happened with you and Eddie. I remember what I said to you at the time. Sweetheart, I was unfair. I was angry and bitter. I’m so sorry about that. When you started college, I realized how strong you were. I wanted to be that way, too. I was selfish to ask you to come home. Sometimes it’s easier to stay in the mud than it is to pull yourself out of it. Life taught me that. But you taught me something else, baby girl. You taught me that I can be more. I can be brave. I think I’m going to marry Graham. We’ll have to coordinate our schedules.”

She never thought she’d hear those words from her mom. Deena hugged her again, her heart full. “I’m so happy for you.”

“Hey, let’s take this to Top and get some lunch,” Eric said, his hand sliding into hers.

She smiled up at him. That was where it was supposed to be.
